    Ocean Visions Announces Request for Proposals: $1.5M available for mCDR Environmental Impact Assessment Framework We are excited to announce a $1.5 million funding opportunity to develop a comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment Framework for Marine CDR!  To understand the potential for marine CDR to contribute to global climate goals, responsible research, including field testing, must accelerate and answer critical questions about the impact of mCDR technologies on marine ecosystems and communities that rely on them.  To support research and decision making on mCDR operations, we are seeking proposals to develop a comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment Framework that can provide a standardized approach to assessing the environmental impacts of mCDR technologies.
