Hello everyone 🙋♀️ 🌊 We are proud to announce the successful completion of our initial campaign with SSEN Transmission ! Throughout the harsh weather winter period, we utilised our dedicated vessel, Viking Reach 🚢, along with our high-speed Surveyor Interceptor ROV (SROV) 🤿 working off the Scottish coastline. The project included the acquisition of over 3500 line km of subsea geophysical data 🗺️ and over 160 geotechnical CPTs / VC’s. Our team of experts processed, analysed, and reported the data to SSEN Transmission to allow them to make informed decisions for the HVDC project implementation. “It was a true pleasure working with the Reach Subsea Team, both on shore and offshore. Their commitment to safety and quality delivery was excellent, adopting an agile way of working and collaborating closely with SSEN Transmission in overcoming challenges and safeguarding the success of the projects.” 🌟 Capt. 🚀 Tech Update! Meet our latest development - 'Dragonet'. Do you believe she can swim? 🌊 We can confirm she can, having successfully completed testing over the past few months. ✅ 'Dragonet' is our new UXO (Unexploded Ordnance) gradiometer system. 🎯 About 'Dragonet': 👉 The system consists of gradiometers in a wide foldable frame which also carries video cameras that enable AI-supported alignment between magnetic anomalies and visual data. 📹🤖 👉The gradiometer sensors are operated closely to the seabed and pick up the magnetic field from ferrous objects on, or buried in, the seabed. 🧲🌊 👉The data acquired with these sensors are crucial to manage risk from historical and present warfare that pose a threat to any marine construction project. ⚠️🏗️ 👉The end client receives a stamp to have ensured as low as reasonable possible mitigative actions before starting their activities. ✅🔒 We are dedicated to achieving "Sustainable access to ocean space," and this is a prime example of our commitment in action. #ReachSubsea #Sustainability #Technology #Development #Innovation #EverythingWithinReach #Dragonet #UXO #UnexplodedOrdnance
