NOBID Consortium

WP3 is one of the three non-technical WPs of the NOBID Consortium. 🤝 Its purpose is to engage additional partners to ensure cross-border interoperability, which represents a crucial factor for the success of the Wallet. Latest additions include the Latvian Road Safety Directorate in Latvia, CRIF and banks and merchants in Iceland. 🔗These partners are then paired with the other technical Work Packages to collaborate and improve on the project activity. 💡The Fjármála- og efnahagsráðuneytið (Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs of the Icelandic government) organized, in cooperation with the Icelandic FinTech cluster and Finance Iceland, an open introductory meeting on the EU Digital Identity Wallet and its relevance for service owners in Iceland. 🚀 Together with public and private sector representatives from Latvia and Estonia, the #NOBID Consortium’s beneficiary Latvijas Valsts radio un televīzijas centrs participated in the round table discussion "Mobile Identity and Digital Wallet". 💡LVRTC representatives spoke more in detail about their involvement in the EU Digital Identity Wallet project and the implementation of the NOBID pilot project. 🔐The conference has been held in Riga since 2012 to gather representatives of the public and private sector, to encourage discussions and to promote the development of the field of personal identification. 🎉 The Advisory Board is on! Today, we hosted the kick-off meeting of the external advisory group of the NOBID Consortium. During the meeting, the Work Package Leads presented the activities that are being carried out for the piloting and testing of the NOBID Wallet and the progress in achieving milestones and targets. This represented a great opportunity to discuss key topics and relevant open points with the members of the institutional layer of the Advisory Board, composed of the central banks and national banking associations of the 6 countries participating in the project. The sharing and spread of expertise are essential to ensure high-quality results for the Large Scale Pilot and ultimately enhance the adoption of the European Digital Identity Wallet.
