Artig å få diskutere do's and don'ts med Elin Thorsen Kløverød i GC Rieber AS og Petter Reistad i Celsia rundt Corporate Startup samarbeid hos Startuplab i forbindelse med deres 2030 program idag. Dette er en påminnelse om hvor utrolig viktig det er at store selskaper tar initativ og er interesserte i å jobbe aktivt med startups for å sammen løse vanskelige problemer. Tilbake i 2017 jobbet jeg i Solution Seeker og møtte John M. Lervik og Per Harald Kongelf via Meet The Corporates programmet til Startuplab. Den samtalen ble starten på et stort prosjekt og godt samarbeid mellom Solution Seeker, Cognite og Aker BP ASA. Idag var jeg stolt over å kunne fortelle om det andre suksessfulle samarbeidet mellom MoreScope, GC Rieber AS og Celsia med utspring i Startuplab sitt miljø. Key takeaways: 1. Pilotprosjekter med budsjett er helt essensielt for at startups skal kunne iterere seg frem til gode løsninger, og ikke minst overleve finansielt 2. Store selskaper må forenkle innkjøpsprosesser og eie prosessen mot oss startups med gode champions. Her fortjener GC Rieber AS og Elin Thorsen Kløverød masse skryt for eierskap til prosessen og intern stakeholder management, og å holde oss i MoreScope i hånden via pilotprosjekt og frem til ferdig signert kommersiell kontrakt. 3. Startups har ikke et ferdig produkt og poenget er nettopp at de ikke skal ha det; det blir feil å forvente samme kvalitet som et ferdig off-the-shelf produkt. Feedback og iterasjon med kunden leder til en god og verdifull løsning på problemet. Stor takk til Startuplab og Åshild Aarø som viktige drivere i det norske startupmiljøet.
