ENG : On Thursday, April 18th, Fjellstrand’s employees gathered to celebrate our newly aquired ISO certifications for quality (ISO 9001) and environment (ISO 14001). Fjelltrand’s CEO, Hans Martin Gravdal, and QA-HSE and IT manager, Lars Kristian Bu, state that this was a landmark achievement for the company. The ISO 9001 certification is a confirmation that the organization meets recommended standards for quality management. This means that Fjellstrand’s management system reflects a high level of performance, meets customer expectations, and confirms its continued commitment to quality now and into the future. The ISO 14001 certification is a confirmation that the organization meets recommended standards for environmental management (EMS). This means that our management system provides increased focus and awareness associated with the organization’s environmental footprint, and helps us to achieve and maintain a satisfactory level of control of emissions, while providing methods for decreasing these at the same time. ISO certifications are internationally recognized management standards, and Fjellstrand’s ISO certifications will therefore represent an important advantage for acquiring future projects in a competitive international market. NO: På torsdag vart det feira at Fjellstrand er blitt ISO sertifisert innan kvalitet (ISO 9001) og miljø (ISO 14001). Dagleg leiar og eigar Hans Martin og QHMS/ IT leiar Lars Kristian Bu fortel at dette er ein viktig milepæl for selskapet. Kvalitetssertifiseringa ( ISO 9001) er ein bekreftelse på at bedrifta oppfyller anbefalte standarder for kvalitet, kundefokus og pålitelighet. Miljøsertifiseringa bidrar til økt fokus og bevisstgjering knytt miljøpåvirkinga til selskapet samtidig som det hjelper oss til å få god kontroll over alle utslepp, samt tiltak for å redusere disse. Sertifiseringane er og eit konkurransefortrinn i forhold til framtidige prosjekt.

The first of six SHIFTR carousels has now been delivered for installation on a fast ferry that will operate on routes for Norled in the Oslofjord. This vessel marks the beginning of Norled's contract with Ruter, where the fast ferry routes B11, B20, B21, and B22 are being electrified using SHIFTR , in combination with the retrofitting of two existing fast ferries. The subsequent five SHIFTR carousels will be installed on the second fast ferry in the Oslofjord, as well as on four newly built fast ferries for Trøndelag Route Area 1. SHIFTR carousels are developed by SEAM, a partner and supplier to SHIFTR . SHIFTR is an autonomous battery swap system for fast ferries. This innovative technology enables electric fast ferries to operate just like before – with high speed and short turnaround times.   "Norled and SHIFTR greatly appreciate the collaboration with Fjellstrand.
