We look back on two inspiring days at Carbon Capture Technology Expo Europe Hamburg 2024. TCM Ismail Shah Koteswara Rao Putta Liv Lønne Dille made new and useful contacts which we hope will lead to synergies that will accelerate the commercialisation of carbon capture technologies. #catchingourfuture We also had a good collaboration with ECCSEL ERIC Klaus Tobias Mosbacher and discussed synergies to support the accelerated deployment of CCS. Meet us at stand 004 during the #IEAGHG #GHGT-17 conference in Calgary. We will be available to talk with you about the largest CCUS Research Infrastructure in the world providing Open Access to its over 100 research facilities covering CO2 Capture, Transport, Storage and Utilisation as well as CDR. GHGT-17 will be held in the TELUS Convention Centre Calgary, Alberta, Canada between 20-24 October 2024.

The ECCSEL team Klaus Tobias Mosbacher, Sébastien DUPRAZ and Volker Röhling as well as ECCSEL General Assembly chairman Jonathan P. (#BGS) have to enjoyed a couple of busy days in Pau, France, at the #ICMforum. The second day of the event ended with a presentation of the draft forum conclusions by Edith Hofer (DG ENER, European Commission and the closing speech by Mechthild Wörsdörfer (Deputy Director General, DG ENER, European Commission). After the formal presentations concluded, a site visit at #Teréga and #TotalEnergies provided interesting insight in the CCUS activities of those organisations.. 📌#ICMForum 2024 day 1 During the first day of the forum, ECCSEL chairman Jonathan P. participated in a lively panel discussion on CO2 infrastructure and how network planning and regulatory framework contributes to ensuring competitive value chains and to de-risking industrial carbon management projects. ECCSEL executive director Klaus Tobias Mosbacher, ECCSEL France node leader Sébastien DUPRAZ DUPRAZ and ECCSEL director of operations and projects Volker Röhling were present at the ECCSEL poster answering questions from ICM forum participants. 📌#ICMForum 2024 starting tomorrow. Follow the event and hear among other a panel discussion on CO2 infrastructure where ECCSEL chairman Jonathan P. will contribute with discussion on how network planning and regulatory framework contribute to ensuring competitive value chains and de-risking industrial carbon management projects. The ICM Forum will discuss implementation of the Commission's Communication on Industrial Carbon Management and the aim to facilitate the creation of a single market for CO2 in Europe, and the deployment of industrial carbon management technologies.
