For the past few years, around 60 exceptional talents from numerous DNV offices across the world have met digitally over several weeks to explore emerging customer needs during our annual Next Gen Summit. This year, 13 teams with diverse backgrounds from 22 countries have been working to solve challenges that our clients encounter when they are working to tackle some of the big, pressing issues of our time. Issues related to #decarbonization and #digitalization, #AI and #cyber security, and sustainability within the food and aquaculture industries - just to mention a few. I’m extremely impressed by how our NextGen teams have performed and delivered this year, and it has been challenging to pick the winning teams. The winning teams will receive an initial 8-week SPRINT funding to develop their ideas further. Congratulations to the two winners of NextGen 2024: Team 7 - Finsight (Aadil C., Connor Barrett, Renn Darawali, Rosa Ofelia Varela and Astri Maatje Glindø) and Team 13 - Safe AI (Oleg Agafonov, Tara Jahangiry, Johanne Loose, Kashyap Chhabria and Tuong Nguyen), and a big thank you to all teams for sharing ideas and perspectives over the past few days. 📸 Camilla Sterri & Ingrid Mokal Lurås
