Borregaard is pleased to be an TNFD Early Adopter! We have started making disclosures aligned with the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) Recommendations in our corporate reporting by financial year 2023.   We are actively working on and monitoring our risks, both in terms of setting targets to minimise our nature-related impacts and maintaining an approach to sustainable sourcing and transition to a more circular economy.   As our products have a wide range of applications, our business model is more adaptable to unforeseeable changes from climate and nature-related risks. Our products are also resilient to shifting market demands, which is steadily going towards more sustainable products.   Explore the full list of inaugural TNFD Early Adopters here: https://lnkd.in/dANpaawJ #TNFDEarlyAdopter #TNFD #WEF24

    Sustainability Advisor at Borregaard

What a second and last year of the Borregaard researcher trainee program! Already “graduated”!?🌲 This year I have to thank the process owner team and commercial department for having me, rotating through the Production plant and Biopolymers Agri😊🤩 The last year have brought new challenges, giving me the opportunity to develop professionally and personally. The half year in Production gave me insight in how the biorefinery works, the challenges through a day and the culture and communication between people. I got the pleasure of following the Speciality Cellulose production more closely and join continuous improvement projects.👷🏻♀️ The last half year in Commercial was maybe the most distant department compared to my education. However, it has been a very fun time! Working within the plant nutrition segment I have looked at market trends, presented at an internal global Agri meeting, participated at the tradeshow MacFrut 23, joined and presented in external customer meetings, and worked with and coordinated marketing materials. Nothing possible without working closely with the BP Agri team.🌍 Through the trainee program I’ve met, got to know and worked with many colleagues and friends and I’m thankful for all, both time on work and off work, but this year I have to give extra thanks to Sigvart and Ada Cecilie Heggebø in the process owner team, and Rebecca and the rest of the BP Agri team for helping, guiding and answering all my questions!🌱Also, I’ve to thank Kristin for following up us trainees the past two years.  Apart from the time in the groups, I’ve also got the opportunity and joy to represent Borregaard at NMBU’s career day and at a company presentation at NTNU. I’ve learned more about working methodology during the BoOT-Camp course. And the presentation skills were once more tested during the Borregaard Innovation Conference.😊   As trainee I have seen several departments of Borregaard and now I’m ready to bring my experience and knowledge into a new challenge, the position as researcher in Speciality Cellulose RD. Looking forward to my future Borregaard journey!🤩🌱 Picture creds: Rebecca, Cathrine Skaalen, Silje Sandbukt and Nicolas Tourrenc/Borregaard. #trainee
