A few weeks ago, Blue Logic had the honor of participating as judges in this year’s TAC Challenge at the Tau Autonomy Center. With 150 students from 13 countries, including Norway, India, Turkey, Poland, and Egypt, the competition has nearly tripled in participation from last year's event. Students tested their skills in underwater robotics, competing in tasks like pipe inspection, structure inspection, and docking. These challenges reflect real-world industry problems, providing invaluable experience for all involved. It was impressive to see the next generation of subsea engineers working with their own designed ROVs and how they implemented the USB subsea puck to dock and communicate with the provisional docking station. Moreover, prior to the TAC Challenge on June 12, we had the honor of welcoming the Ambassador of India, Dr. Acquino Vimal, to our office. This memorable occasion allowed us to share valuable insights. Dr. Vimal also attended the TAC Challenge event to encourage the two Indian participating teams. #TACChallenge #UnderwaterTechnology #Innovation #Technology #Engineering #StudentCompetition #Diplomacy #InternationalRelations #India #

Pull Heads for Balder Future Project Blue Logic has recently delivered a total of 10 Pull Heads to Ocean Installer for operation at Vår Energi’s Balder Future Project. The Pull Heads will be used for pull-in of 6”, 10“ and 12” risers during re-commissioning of Jotun FPSO. All Pull Heads include an integrated ValveStab receptacle, i.e. receptacle with valve functionality. With no need for additional isolation valve, these Pull Heads combines compact design with high flow capacity.   The Pull Heads are machined from one solid, forged bolt with no structural welding required. Except from the forged material from Italy, all fabrication, coating, assembly and testing have been performed by local vendors in the Stavanger-region.   Once again, this delivery adds to Blue Logic’s extensive track record for delivery of Pull-Heads, and confirms our capability to deliver cost-effective solutions.   For more information, please visit Blue Logic website at https://lnkd.in/dhTt6MDh and Balder Future Project at https://lnkd.in/dmwaKuiQ #Balderfutureproject#

What's happening on the last day at UTC 2024 in Bergen for us? Today marks the final day of the event, and we are excited to see a live video from Njord Field at Equinor stand. Witness the docking station that set a world record for subsea operation at 330 meters for over 165 days. Since 2017, Equinor, Saipem, and Blue Logic have collaborated closely on the development of this docking station. It's a pleasure to finally see it in full operation, and it's an honor for us to be part of this incredible journey. Busy Week Alert! 🚨 It’s an incredibly busy week for us as we manage multiple events happening simultaneously. We are excited to be part of the TAC Challenge in Tau and the UTC 2024 in Bergen. 📍 Live from Bergen: We're thrilled to share updates from the UTC conference where our team has brought some impressive subsea gears, including Inductive Connectors, Flying Lead Orientation Tool (FLOT), a 3D model of a docking station, prototype of Torque Tools, different types of valves, and hotstabs. It's fantastic to see both familiar and new faces. Let’s connect and explore innovative solutions together! #UTC2024#SubseaInnovation

Blue Logic - Subsea USB Sponsors TAC Challenge 2024!!!! Blue Logic - Subsea USB is excited to announce our sponsorship of the TAC Challenge 2024. As part of our commitment to fostering innovation and supporting the next generation of engineers, we are delivering our inductive power pucks for this year's competition. Join us for an exhilarating competition where students from around the world will showcase their skills and compete in subsea technology challenges. This is an incredible opportunity for young innovators to test their skills and connect with peers in the industry. Save the date and meet us: 📅Date: 10th - 14th June 2024 🏢Venue: TAU Center Challenge Overview: In the TAC Challenge 2024, students will compete to achieve three key objectives using their Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs): 1.   Navigate and Control the ROV: Demonstrate precise navigation and control of their vehicles to successfully dock with a stationary docking station. 2.   Evaluate the Efficiency and Reliability of the Power Transfer System: Once docked, students will utilize our inductive power pucks to wirelessly transfer power, showcasing the efficiency and reliability of their power transfer systems. 3.   Assess the Robustness and Speed of the Data Communication System: Establish a wireless data connection with the docking station to demonstrate the robustness and speed of their data communication systems. About the Inductive Power Pucks: Our Inductive Power Pucks are engineered to provide seamless and efficient wireless power and data transfer in underwater environments. The primary puck, installed on the docking station, pairs with the secondary puck on the ROVs and AUVs, creating a reliable and innovative solution for subsea operations. Some options of the Inductive Power Pucks: https://lnkd.in/g8_gsyrV https://lnkd.in/g32dXAdq https://lnkd.in/gSbjdMn4       For more information about the Inductive Power Pucks, please contact Helge Eide We are eager to see the innovative solutions and technological advancements that the participants will bring to the TAC Challenge 2024. Good luck to all the teams! #TACChallenge#Subsea#Innovation
