Shoutout to our own Buddabuilders, who arrange all our social happenings at Autek! This summer, they took us on an amazing trip to Son Spa. We enjoyed a thrilling and very interesting RIB adventure with RibRoy Andersen, where we learned about the history of Fram (the boat behind us in the picture) and the Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen. It was a perfect getaway, followed by some relaxing time in the spa and a wonderful dinner. We at Autek AS recently had CPR training session facilitated by the Norwegian Red Cross. We had a CPR drill by the car, learned life-saving techniques for both adults and children, and even got to test a defibrillator! It was an eye-opener how important these skills can be in an emergency situation. Big thanks to the Red Cross Hurum for an educational day!

We recently visited our supplier, RAJA Norge, to learn about sustainable packaging. We discovered simple yet effective ways to reduce our environmental footprint, starting with the tape we use. It turns out, the right tape can make a big difference! By choosing the correct tape for our packages, we can secure them effectively while using less material. But that’s not all. We’ve taken a significant step by transitioning from black plastic to transparent plastic for our packaging needs. Why does this matter? Black plastic, often limited to being recycled into darker items due to its pigment, has a narrower scope for reuse. Transparent plastic, on the other hand, opens up a spectrum of possibilities. It can be recycled into a wide range of colors and new products, enhancing its recyclability and value in the circular economy. We are ISO 14001 certified, and always tries to find ways to reduce our negative impact, big and small. #SustainablePackaging #ISO14001 #ReduceEnvironmentalFootprint #AutekAS
