Overleg:Grahamstad

I think the name should be called Grahamstad, the Afrikaans name. Other wikipedias became ignorant and assumed that the english name was the real name. Dutch should follow Afrikaans and move the page to Grahamstad, rather than English Grahamtown.--Bezuidenhout 13 aug 2009 21:01 (CEST)

Ook een site als Roepstem geeft aan dat de stad een Engelse oorsprong heeft. De website van de stad geeft ook Grahamstown aan. Van Grahamstad heb ik een doorverwijzing gemaakt. Hanhil 16 aug 2009 10:40 (CEST)

The link you have here used Grahamstad all the way through, and only at the beggining says Grahamsown. I think this is a definite move, on this wiki we have Mosselbaai and not Mossel Bay, then why have Grahamstown, not Grahamstad?-Bezuidenhout 10 sep 2009 08:13 (CEST)

Why is this still at Grahamstown?? Dutch uses the Afrikaans names for towns in ZA but not this one?? Even Oost-Londen has it's own Dutch name! 86.153.65.73 24 jan 2010 15:31 (CET)

Ik heb de wiki toch maar even - na wat onderzoek - hernoemd. Het Nederlands is de oorspronkelijke naam. Bovendien gaat de Suriname-richtlijn van de NTU ook op voor Zuid-Afrika. Het Nederlandstalige endoniem (niet exoniem!) gaat voor. --I90Christian (overleg) 28 aug 2011 13:33 (CEST)
