I come from Sonderburg in southern Jutland and, for four years, I've been living on Suduroy, the most southerly of the Faroe islands. I was very quickly fascinated by these tiny inkspots, far out in the North Atlantic. My wife works as a Danish and German teacher in the local grammar school in Vagur. After many hectic years in the building industry, I now work on a freelance basis in the tourist sector and write articles about the Faroes and Denmark for Wikipedia.
