10 years of HydroNET - Your Online Water Control Room in Australia! A significant milestone and growing well. Congratulations to HydroLogic and Water Technology Pty Ltd. I have been privileged to be involved for 7 of those 10 years. it's a great platform and I look forward to 10 more years.

Water Technology Pty Ltd is using gauge adjusted Radar Rainfall data available in our HydroNET - Your Online Water Control Room to improve the calibration of our flood models. This is a cool animation of the start of the February 2022 rainfall event in Woogaroo Creek. The animation was generated in HydroNET, which automatically aggregated the raw 5 minute data to the model sub-catchments into hourly intervals for the video. HydroNET platform partner Hydro & Meteo GmbH & Co. KG provides the real time gauge adjustment of the Rainfields3 bias adjusted data from the Bureau of Meteorology, maintaining the desired 5-minute timestep in the process. Urban Utilities are using this same radar rainfall data in their HydroNET Water Control Room to calibrate their sewer models and assess the effectiveness of source control programs. An inspiring week in Maputo #Mozambique. It has been an honour to be part of this group of highly motivated and talented ARA-Sul and DNGRH staff that were trained by Ralf Linneman from HydroLogic to use and optimally benefit from the HydroNET - Your Online Water Control Room. A selection of operational dashboards that have been configured based on the input provided by the group: #waterquality status, status of the rivers and dams, dam water balance, weather observations, weather forecast, water availability forecast and an international water control room with live information across the border. Furthermore #flood and #drought bulletins were configured which are automatically updated to facilitate reporting and sharing information. The video below gives a little insight in the lively atmosphere during the training. Yesterday we kicked-off the first day of the #GLOW modelling workshop with representatives from the Joint River Basin Authorities - Project Board, Inkomati-Usuthu CMA - IUCMA, Department of Water and Sanitation (PUCMA), ARA-Sul and Incomati and Maputo Watercourse Commission - INMACOM.
