Thanks to Kiran Kumar for inviting me as a VIP delegate to the Smart Manufacturing Summit. I had an opportunity to interact with some of the senior leaders from various industries and learn about their transformative journeys. Its inspiring to hear Suresh Vijayaraghavan's insights into how The Hindu adopted to digital-first strategies, Shanoj Chandroth's views on supply chain traceability in Agro business, Krupasindhu Roul's perspective on digital transformation. It was thought provoking to hear Shankar Viswanathan share about Sundaram Clayton Limited strategy on private 5G adoption and their vision towards connected factory journey and how they are futurizing for the right business impact. Raghu Kalidindi's presentation on their historian product was interesting to watch. Dr. Deepak Kota's insights into combining generative and alternative AI techniques for optimal solutions were very informative. Ajitt Kolhe's observations on digital twins and 360 value diagnostics gave ideas on business areas that can be looked into. Interactive Panel discussions offered reflective insights about Manufacturing transformations across industries. Applause to Entraine Business Services Pvt Ltd for organizing this event. As Robert Frost says, "The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep".
