Let’s welcome Niels Janssen to Xccelerated! Last month, Niels started at Port of Rotterdam where he will work on a predictive maintenance project using computer vision techniques. The Machine Learning Inspector is an innovative project that aims to automate road- and waterway inspections using cameras on the Port Authority's cars and ships. Large scale analysis of these video streams should lead to automatic detection of damaged assets, more effective maintenance, and above all a safer Port of Rotterdam. Xccelerated has been involved in this project since November 2021. Niels will continue on the work of our Lead MLE Wesley.
