While we're not yet as big as established marketplaces, we've sold tens of millions of euros worth of secondhand furniture—likely worth well over a hundred million euros if new! Was it your idea or mine to build Whoppah, Evelien Bunnik-Remmelts? 😄 Our journey began with a mission to transform consumption, improve lives, and solve practical problems for both sellers and buyers, all while having a blast and pushing ourselves intellectually. And it seems to be working! Sure, we should have aimed for a business model that was profitable from day one, scaling success rather than relying on economies of scale for profitability.
