We transform patient care with autonomous blood drawing technology
Over ons
Vitestro will be the first to bring autonomous blood drawing technology to European hospitals. Blood drawing, performed billions of times per year worldwide, is key to clinical diagnosis. Given a growing population and shortages of healthcare personnel, there is a clear need for a future-proof system to keep up with demand for diagnostics.

Thank you Helena! [English] What is it like to have blood drawn by a machine? Nearly 200 volunteers tried it out at Amsterdam UMC as part of the A.D.O.P.T. study. This study will teach us a lot about the technical and clinical performance of the autonomous blood-drawing device developed by Vitestro. Such curiosity and enthusiasm for this innovation! Many thanks for the wonderful collaboration over the past 4 weeks! #Vitestro #Bloedafname #MedTech

A.D.O.P.T. Trial Results @ Worldlab It’s been a great couple of days for the Vitestro team at IFCC WorldLab 2024, where we publicly shared results from the A.D.O.P.T. trial. We are proud to report that all performance and safety endpoints were met in the A.D.O.P.T. Pivotal Trial phase. Other key findings include a 95% first-stick success rate and 98% patient acceptance. In the words of Thijs Van Holten, one of the study's Principal Investigators, “These results clearly demonstrate the potential for this new way of managing blood draws using advanced technologies.” The A.D.O.P.T. trial (NCT05878483) is scheduled to run through 2025 and involves 10,000 patients over five study phases. It is the largest evaluation of autonomous blood drawing devices in the world. Thank you to our study partners, St. Antonius Ziekenhuis, OLVG Lab BV, Result Laboratorium, and Amsterdam UMC for the great collaboration. We look forward to continuing the A.D.O.P.T. trial! Please check out the link below to see more details and to download the study results. https://lnkd.in/eGyhWwjE
