Are you working at the intersection of #humanrights and #HIV? Bookmark this resource now! Being able to harness treaties, high level declarations, and scientific evidence for advocacy is hugely impactful. However, these documents can be highly technical and deeply complicated. The HIV Language Compendium not only clarifies technical and other key terms, it also situates them within 20 years of scientific evidence, political declarations, and UN treaty body recommendations. And it includes links to relevant high-level, intergovernmental, and expert precedent and evidence. This is a treasure trove of information, all in one easily accessible place! Want to know why I'm a huge fan and beneficiary of the Compendium? On Friday a colleague asked me to write talking points on the importance of human rights, community engagement, and PrEP for the HIV response... with a two day turn around! Five years ago I would have spent the weekend reading through complex political declarations and pulling out old copies of The Lancet. Today it was... an hour of clicking through the Compendium. This is a game changer. Please share the Compendium with your networks, so everyone has access to this key information! #communityleadership #communityengagement https://lnkd.in/eFqVt3p3
