Celebrating a Remarkable Milestone: Ron’s 20 Years with TRIMM! 🌟 "Why change when you love where you are?" For Ron van den Boom, the past two decades at TRIMM have been filled with rewarding experiences and meaningful connections. 🎉 Ron’s words on the last 20 years Reflecting on two decades at TRIMM, I’ve often heard comments suggesting that staying with one employer for so long is a thing of the past. However, I’ve never felt the need to switch when I have the privilege of working at the nicest company in Twente. Here, I enjoy being part of a fantastic team and collaborating with remarkable international clients like Philips, Signify, and JDE Peet's (Douwe Egberts)—many of whom have become like friends. TRIMM has afforded me unique opportunities, from organizing a sponsored bike tour to Vietnam to publishing a cookbook with colleagues’ recipes. Over the years, I've taken on diverse roles, including trainee supervisor, works council member, emergency response officer, and confidential advisor, all of which have been incredibly rewarding. With all these fulfilling experiences, I am enthusiastic about continuing to the next milestone. 💙 #TRIMM #20years #anniversary

Several key takeaways struck us: 🔹 Enhanced user experience: User experience is becoming increasingly integral within data teams. 🔹 Actionable KPIs: KPI dashboards now trigger concrete actions, like automated emails when specific results are achieved or missed. 🔹 Looker adoption: Looker emerged frequently as a BI tool of choice, especially among companies that have recently selected a BI platform. 🔹 Black box data models: There are many poor experiences with black box data models, particularly in the B2B sector. 🔹 Management support: Significant data advancements require management or C-level backing. 🔹 Practical implementation: Start small with use cases to ensure project completion.
