ART X STORIES For the third chapter of Art x Stories, we connected Inner Circle couple Lotte and Lasse with Dutch artist Rosalien Toornstra to bring their unique story to life through an exclusive artwork. When Lotte, 24, met Lasse, 24, she couldn’t have known that as well as a fulfilling long term relationship, she would be finding a new passion. Lasse was first attracted to Lotte’s Inner Circle profile because she happened to have a racing bike in her photos, and he hoped it would mean she loved cycling as much as he did. She didn’t, at the time, but after introducing her properly to the sport, his hope turned to prediction. "I believe it did bring us closer together," Lotte said. To bring their story to life, Rosalien worked with natural elements and named the artwork 'Cycles of Connection.' Her paintings represent the fluid motion of cycling and their shared beach outings, capturing an important piece of their relationship. "Cycles of Connection" is an abstract piece where dynamic lines and shapes symbolise the fluid motion of cycling, while real sand and bicycle tire tracks represent shared outings. My artworks fuse organic textures and earthy tones, creating a meditative experience." Rosalien Toornstra, an abstract artist based near Amsterdam, creates works that exude tranquility and serenity. Embracing the beauty of imperfection, she integrates natural elements into her art, producing pieces that are both weathered and refined. GLOBAL REBOOT Over the past few weeks, we’ve celebrated the launch of Inner Circle with three exclusive parties around the world. From the sun-drenched terrace of Zomer Bar in Amsterdam Noord to the snug Matiz Bar in Sao Paulo and colourful spaces of Casa Comex in Mexico City, each event offered unique experiences, specially tailored for our local members. Why the celebration? We're here to shake things up and redefine dating with a bang. These parties weren't just about savouring fine wines and capturing memories (though we did plenty of that). They were about celebrating our members—the heartbeat of Inner Circle—who bring the spark to every gathering. SECRET SESSIONS Coyocán - the latest neighbourhood to join the Inner Circle revolution. For this edition of Secret Sessions, we took a bold step into the historic and vibrant southern part of the city, expanding our reach to the charming streets of Coyoacán. Our mission? To break the ice and forge new connections through the art of wine. Put up by NY-style bistro Ludlow, our members participated in a curated wine tasting experience guided by master sommeliers. Each sip was a voyage through a symphony of flavours and aromas, showcasing the créme de la créme of wines from around the globe. The result? An atmosphere brimming with lively conversations, shared stories, and the gentle clinking of glasses - an ideal setting for new friendships and connection. At Inner Circle, we’re not just redefining community - we’re giving it a whole new vibe. Secret Sessions - Wine Tasting Edition was just another step in our journey to bring people closer, one event at a time. RAISING THE BAR To mark the dawn of a new era for Inner Circle, our Amsterdam crew gathered at HQ with friends and family to celebrate all the hard work. We had mixologists slinging the tastiest Palomas, natural wines from one of Amsterdam’s top wine shops, and a BBQ with a twist from All About Cooking. The vibe was electric, with everyone soaking in the good times. This past quarter has been a wild ride. The team came together and nailed the unveiling of our new look across the app and brand. It’s been a whirlwind, but the results speak for themselves—we couldn’t be prouder. This new chapter for Inner Circle is all about redefining dating. It’s built for those who live ambitious lifestyles and crave connections with like-minded people who move in the same circles. Inner Circle has joined forces with MUBI, a global streaming platform, distributor, and producer where every film is handpicked by real curators and features a catalogue of great cinematic works. MUBI and Inner Circle Cinema Nights offer our community a unique experience that goes beyond the screen. A series of events for lovers and enthusiasts of the seventh art, each evening features specially-selected film screenings by MUBI in iconic locations across Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. ART X STORIES For the second chapter of Art x Stories, we connected Inner Circle couple Gabriela and Leonardo, with Cypriot artist Ioanna Chasikou (@sketchysketchesz) to bring their unique story to life through an exclusive artwork. Gabriela and Leonardo matched on Inner Circle, leading to natural conversations that quickly transitioned to outside the app. Despite Gabriela's initial fear about meeting someone who might not resemble their pictures. The dinner date reassured her, starting the connection they now share. To bring their story to life, Ioanna worked with abstract digital art techniques, drawing inspiration from a photo shared by the couple. This allowed her to reflect their real-life proportions symbolising connection. “My inspiration for creating this digital artwork stemmed from the composition and vibrant hues of the couple's mirror selfie. The intertwining of their bodies reminded me of the allure of blossoming flowers. I purposely adjusted the proportions to abstractly resemble the couple.” This artwork was exclusively created for Inner Circle and Gabriela and Leonardo by independent artist and Rome-based art curator, Ioanna Chasikou. Independent artist and Rome-based art curator, Ioanna, grew up in Cyprus and studied in Rotterdam. Her curiosity, fueled by her love for music, art and human connections, guides her creative process. We’re always seeking new artists and stories of connection, particularly those in need of a platform to express their art and creativity.
