Tembo e-LV’s engineering team including ex #Tesla and ex #Rivian personnel have over the past 12 months been focussed on robust assembly, testing, and training protocols for the jeepney program. Team Tembo’s mantra for this program is “E-jeepneys for the Philippines, by local Filipinos, enabled by Tembo tech inside”.  It has always been Tembo’s strategy to codify the processes and ultimately upskill Filipinos in the Philippines to undertake as much of the jeepney electrification process as possible.  The mission is to ultimately see the jeepney industry in the Philippines revitalised and growing again. Tembo e-LV is pleased to be upgrading an existing converted LandCruiser for our partner GHH Fahrzeuge GmbH and its key customer in the mining sector. This Landcruiser was first converted and delivered almost 3 years ago with an original Tembo EUV conversion kit featuring a 28kWh battery that allowed for a practical range of 80km in an underground mining context. We are now re-converting these vehicles with the 2024 edition of our Tembo electric utility vehicle (EUV) kits, which will boost range to 350km, reduce charging time to 0.45 hours, and include remote monitoring capabilities. Importantly, we can now offer a 5-year warranty on batteries and a 2-year warranty on our EV powertrain kit. 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | Members of Benang infrastructure construction and maintenance services team installing underground gas lines for ATCO Australia in Perth, Western Australia with the assistance of the Tembo e-LV 𝗧𝘂𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝟲𝟱𝗸𝗪𝗵 𝟮𝗪𝗗 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗯. Not only did the Tusker-S help safely transport Benang gas line team to the site in North Lake Road, Myaree, it also played a key role in the installation activity. Our single cab 100% electric ute provided the necessary power to support the Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), installing pipes and cables activities through its vehicle-to-load (V2L). Tembo's premier V2L technology allows our Tusker-S utes to be a mobile power source for construction and other industrial installations even in remote areas. It’s just one of the many standout features of our electric utes.
