𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗪𝗘𝗡𝗦 𝗩𝗢𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗥 𝗕𝗢𝗔𝗧 𝗧𝗪𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗘 Het team van Solar Boat Twente is met hun boot Lumina aangekomen in Monaco om op 4, 5 en 6 juli te strijden in de Monaco Energy Boat Challenge. Enkele weken geleden waren onze betrokken collega's aanwezig bij de sponsorenbarbecue, waarbij ze nog een laatste demonstratie van de boot kregen (zie video). We zagen dat het foilen, waarbij de boot door de vleugels (foils) boven het wateroppervlak wordt uitgetild, steeds beter ging. Ook de andere onderdelen waar wij aan hebben bijgedragen, zoals de nieuwe struts en het scharnierpunt, functioneerden perfect. We blikken terug op een succesvol proces met de studenten van University of Twente en Hogeschool Saxion, waar wij als kennispartner onderdeel van mochten zijn en hopen dat ze deze week mooie prestaties gaan leveren op het wereldtoneel. We wensen ze heel veel succes, zet 'm op!
