De Geo-Data Fusion Hackathon 2024. Fantastische Hackers, Experts, Vakjury en co-organisatie eromheen! Uiteraard bijzonder respect voor de hackers die deze prestaties hebben geleverd, inclusief team #SoilSpectrum en #ParkSense! In de co-organisatie met Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat | NSO - Netherlands Space Office | NL Space Campus | Rijkswaterstaat en het team van LEF future center mochten wij de Hackathon begeleiden! Wat een mooie dagen, we kijken uit naar de after-movie! Met dank aan Elmer, Martin, Joshua, Mirai en Ferdi voor de uitvoering.
🔎 Wat gebeurt er als je verschillende teams 3 dagen laat 'hacken' om met behulp van satellietdata maatschappelijke vraagstukken op te lossen? 💡 Dat ontdekten we tijdens de finale van de Geo-Data Fusion Hackathon op 17 juni. Tijdens dit inspirerende evenement werkten acht teams van meer dan veertig getalenteerde ‘hackers’ samen met experts aan innovatieve oplossingen voor uitdagingen zoals het beter benutten van parkeerplekken, de ecologische impact van windparken op zee en de verbetering van onze bodemkwaliteit. 🚗🌱 🌊 De winnaars, Team SoilSpectrum 🌱 , en de runner-up, Team ParkSense 🅿 , hebben indrukwekkende prototypes gepresenteerd die laten zien hoe satellietdata onze openbare ruimte kunnen transformeren. Zij worden uitgenodigd om een voorstel in te dienen bij NSO - Netherlands Space Office en Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat om hun concept verder te ontwikkelen. 💬 Jasper van Loon, directielid van het NSO: ‘Deze hackathon trekt veel mensen van buiten de ruimtevaart. Zij kijken met een frisse blik naar wat je allemaal met satellietdata kunt doen en verzinnen oplossingen waar we misschien eerder nog niet aan hadden gedacht.
