He will be joining us from Serbia to deliver his talk titled: "Building a Simple RAG Application: From Fundamentals to Implementation" With a decade of expertise in computer vision, NLP, & personalization, Stanko leads an advanced R&D team, specializing in advanced search & retrieval technologies, & has pioneered AI research for a vector database platform, driving innovation and impactful solutions. [Personal Update] I'm leaving SmartCat.io After more than four and a half years of official employment, and after more than five years since my first internship, I'm saying goodbye to not just colleagues but also to my friends. It's been a surreal experience, I've met some of the most lovable people over there, learnt almost everything that I know now, and shaped myself as a person during this period. I'm wholehartedly grateful to Nenad Bozic and Sanja Hajdukovic for giving me the opportunity five years ago, when #AI was still in its early stages in terms of industrial application, especially in Novi Sad. Huge thanks to my mentors Stanko Kuveljić and Nemanja Milićević and of course to everyone else for making this journey a beautiful ride ❤️ The last week's EEML Summer School was just the cherry on top, a perfect way to wrap things up! I hope that the AI community has learnt from us what makes SmartCat so special. Regarding the future endeavors, I couldn't be more excited and can't wait to tackle new challenges with my new comrades.
