We’re happy to announce the second round of speakers as we move closer to our upcoming workshop “𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐙𝐄𝐓 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞” on July 24 at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. This workshop is a part of Smart Freight Centre India’s ZET ecosystem development initiative under NITI Aayog’s 𝐞-𝐅𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, which aims to advance ZET deployment at scale through collaborative ecosystem efforts. This panel of speakers will join us for a discussion on ‘𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐙𝐄𝐓 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞’ to deliberate upon potential pathways to address specific barriers to drive ZET deployment at scale. Our distinguished speakers will join us for a panel discussion on ‘𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐙𝐄𝐓 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞’ to deliberate upon potential pathways to address specific barriers across finance, technology, operations and policy for driving ZET deployment at scale. This challenge stems from a critical need in the Indian logistics market: the transition to electric trucks. The hackathon is open to all students and transport service practitioners and participants will focus on developing innovative business models for adopting electric trucks in India's freight sector, addressing financial, technical, and operational challenges, while considering their environmental impact. Additionally, participants also stand to win substantial prize money and receive mentorship from NITI Aayog and its collaborating partners.
