Which innovations are we looking for? 🔎 It has become a tradition that we share relevant technologies and trends with ClimateHack. Jonas von den Driesch gave input on what the solutions are that we get excited about across the four verticals we invest in. 🌾 Food and Agriculture: We need to produce more with less in the future and are therefore looking for companies that can help with that challenge. To achieve the same or higher yields with less ag inputs, water, etc. 🏭 Green Industries: A lot of efficiency gains can be realized by helping industrial processes to be digitized. ✈️ Mobility and Logistics: We look for solutions and technologies enabling the shift towards sustainable aviation. ☀️ Energy Transition: Solar energy is an important part of our current and future energy mix and we look for innovative technologies to accelerate production. Are you an entrepreneur working in one of the four verticals we focus on? Reach out to us here: https://lnkd.in/eE2emeJ3 The article shows plenty of more technologies relevant for investors, so make sure to check that out as well: https://lnkd.in/dSgNNa4Y Turning investments into impact

🌱🚀 Turning investments into impact #Energietransitie #Duurzaamheid #VentureCapital

Open letter: Dutch F&A scale-ups, a potential goldmine? 🌱 Dutch food scale-ups are innovative and help solve our sustainability challenges, while helping the Netherlands secure its international lead in food and agriculture for the future. This can be achieved if the Dutch government provides them with a level playing field. The Netherlands boasts a strong agriculture and horticulture sector, with innovative SMEs, top-notch higher education institution Wageningen University & Research, and multinationals like Unilever and FrieslandCampina. However, there's a significant investment gap. While Dutch scale-ups raise an average of €35 million, their international competitors secure €84 million. This disparity threatens our scale-ups' growth and continuity. We call on the Dutch government to bridge this gap with additional public funding, ensuring our scale-ups can thrive and keep the Netherlands at the forefront of the Food & Agri sector. Let's support our scale-ups and unlock their full potential! 🚀 Read the full open letter, signed by, among others, Marco Snikkers (OneThird ), Corjan van den Berg (revyve) Jasper Schouten (1-2-Taste), Bert-Jan Woertman (StartLife), Wendy de Jong (Oost NL), Anouk Snelders (Health Food Wall), Ruud Peerbooms (Corbion), Kees Aarts (Protix), Joana Carneiro-Wakefield (NutriLeads), Marjolein A.J.
