🚨 New Report Alert: The 2024 State of Scams in Sweden 🚨 We are excited to announce the release of the 2024 State of Scams in Sweden report, a comprehensive study by the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA) and BioCatch, in association with SSF Stöldskyddsföreningen. Key Findings from the report by Jorij Abraham, Sam Rogers, Clement Njoki, and James Greening, with Gareth Williams: 💰 Swedish citizens lost a staggering $2.75 billion to fraudsters, impacting 0.5% of the nation's GDP. 👥 1-in-8 Swedes have been victims of online scams, with 45% encountering scams monthly. 📉 Confidence in scam detection has significantly decreased, with a 93% increase in scam attempts against the Swedish populace 📈 📥📲 The prevalence of scams through emails, text messages, and platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp underscores the sophisticated and wide-reaching methods of fraudsters. 🕵️♂️ 80% of Swedes don't report these incidents!
