  𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 2024 | 𝗟𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝗴𝗼! As of yesterday, the chicory harvest campaign has kicked off and the Sensus factory in Roosendaal is back in full swing. We wish our growers and everyone at Sensus Agro the best of luck in this year’s campaign!

𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 On September 19th, CHRO Suzanne Jungjohann signed the Diversity in Business Charter at the SER in The Hague on behalf of Cosun. The Diversity Charter is a European initiative, implemented in the Netherlands by SER Diversity in Business (SER Diversiteit in Bedrijf). Also present were Fouad O., Group Tax Manager, Diversity Ambassador, and Chair of the Works Council, and Masja Schmitz, Talent Manager. By signing, we reaffirm our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion - key pillars of our Cosun strategy and HR agenda - and to taking concrete actions in this regard. "An inclusive organisation is a place where everyone feels at home and can bring out the best in themselves. Where diversity is seen as an opportunity to learn from each other and to succeed together," Suzanne said. Today, September 17th, marks an important moment for Royal Cosun and our growers: the start of the 124th beet campaign since the founding of our cooperative in 1899. In the coming months, our growers and employees at the Cosun Beet Company factories will once again work together with care and expertise to transform sugar beets into high-quality products. This campaign not only focuses on production, but also on our continued commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Here, they’ll working on a more sustainable food system. Revyve CEO Cedric Verstraeten on the development process of the facility: “Our partnership with Cosun allowed us to build this fully operational industrial production facility in record time, with less than 12 months between decision and full production. By co-locating with Inicio, Cosun’s pilot plant location, we had access to an industry ready location, with existing permits and utilities connections. Most importantly, Cosun’s fantastic operating team and technical experts team played an invaluable role in the vertical start-up of the facility.” We wish everyone at revyve the best of luck in Dinteloord!

In a program that took us trough Cosun innovation center and the Vos family’s arable farm “Klein Tiengemeten”, the Cosun team told our guests about the developments in the cooperation and our motivation to contribute to solving the challenges that our arable farmers are facing. Together with our visitors, Arjan van Dijk, Arwin Bos and Hans Meeuwis discussed the dilemmas and challenges that we encounter, our ambitions and the role the government can play in this.
