Why make t-shirts from recycled plastic bottes? Let us tell you why. 👕♻ Unlike virgin polyester, recycled polyester (rPET) is manufactured from reclaimed plastic rather than extracted fossil fuels. Despite the name, rPET polyester is made not by directly recycling existing polyester fibers: instead, the main source of raw material for it is post-consumer plastic, particularly drink bottles. We are support the recycling of PET and claim the benefits to the environment by creating #theRecycledBottleTshirt for companies and particulars.

Why is recycling so important for the people and planet?👀 Recycling ♻ rates are decreasing worldwide. Its important we remember that recycling plastic is a vital task for the sustainability of the planet.🌎 Its environmental impact is devastating, given that a large part of its materials is not biodegradable and are also polluting. As for landfills, in many of them plastic contributes to the release into the atmosphere of methane, a gas as destructive as carbon dioxide. According to data from the United Nations (UN), each kilogram of recycled plastic avoids the emission into the atmosphere of around 1.5 kilograms of CO2. Although this data alone would already serve to justify why it is necessary to bet globally on plastic recycling, there are other very important benefits: 1️⃣ reducing the negative impact on terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems 2️⃣ saving in electricity consumption and of non-renewable fossil origin 3️⃣ from the economic point of view, savings in households, since recycled plastic can allow many products to have a significantly lower final cost for consumers. There is a saying that goes: We don't grow when things are easy. That's is why we are excited to announce... we are growing! ♻ 🌍 After incredible growth in first half of 2024, Retrieve is seeking a fresh perspective to drive its marketing and advertising efforts. Natalia Horvath, who has almost 14 years of experience in brand, digital, e-commerce and customer marketing, will join the company as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).    Most recently, Natalia led customer marketing and omnichannel development for Diageo’s luxury business at a global level. However, she has a rich history with consumer brands across various categories as she started her career at Unilever.    As Retrieve’s fractional CMO, Natalia will be tasked with shaping the brands new visual identity and omnichannel marketing strategy. She will oversee the entire Retrieve customer journey, including brand and growth marketing. She will play a central role for the brand as it prioritizes experiential marketing and customer experience initiatives.    “As a brand I have long admired, I am very excited about joining Retrieve and focusing on developing the brand during the next phase of its growth,” said Natalia in her statement. “I believe that a brand with such a compelling purpose and strong focus on local communities will benefit from using a strategic omnichannel marketing framework.”
