It includes non-dilutive funding and the opportunity to profit from remove's vast network of CDR domain experts. It is supported by the Sustainability in Business Lab at ETH Zurich as core partner and founding partners The Grantham Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, Carbon Removal Partners and The DOEN Foundation.

📣  Our co-founder & managing director, Marian Krueger, has been confirmed as a speaker for Carbon Unbound Europe! 👏 🌍 Carbon Unbound is the leading carbon #removal business summit. This year's event - held in London on September 11-12 - will focus on what's business-critical in #CDR for 2024 and beyond, to achieve the mission of removing one #gigaton of carbon from the Earth's atmosphere. 📚 At the event, we will launch our latest CDR startup survey report in collaboration with sus.lab | ETH. This report will develop on the work we did in 2023 to publish "Surviving in a Nascent Market" and include our latest findings from the European carbon removal #startup ecosystem and the state of CDR entrepreneurship in #Europe. 👀 Stay tuned! ➡️ If you haven't had the chance to check out "Surviving in a Nascent Market", you can still access it here: https://lnkd.in/gujaBsBs

At remove, we support our startups in navigating the challenging #CDR market. We also aim to cultivate CDR sales for them wherever possible. Last year, we pioneered an initiative with our friends from Ledgy (thanks Ben Brandt), where their team could engage with our stellar CDR startups to take climate action. This year, we found a partner in Naturalis Biodiversity Center. With the aim of helping Naturalis take climate action based on their carbon footprint from air travel, we co-developed an RfP for CDR purchases exclusively for and from remove teams and alumni. The remove team supported Naturalis in getting up-to-speed about the world of CDR, developing the RfP and running the application process for our startups. Naturalis took it forward with evaluating team applications, conducting interviews with shortlisted teams and ultimately, finalizing their selection. With that, we are pleased to announce that Treeconomy has been selected as the winner of this RfP. Naturalis will be collaborating with Treeconomy to deliver a first-of-its-kind purchase of carbon removal credits from a rewilding project. Congratulations to the teams and everyone involved! 👏 This is one of the various post-program support initiatives we offer startups that complete our accelerator program. Are you interested in taking climate action and running a similar process for our fantastic portfolio of teams? Drop us a line at [email protected] Check out the official press announcement here: https://lnkd.in/dep3Bd5k Special thanks to Edwin Van Huis, Eva van der Veer and The DOEN Foundation for making this possible.
