The European Parliament has adopted the regulation on the European Health Data Space (EHDS), marking a historic moment for online pharmacies across the EU. For the first time, online pharmacies are recognised as full and equal players in the healthcare system! 🏥💻 With this groundbreaking regulation, patients will gain electronic control over their personal health data throughout the EU, and healthcare professionals will have seamless access to patients’ electronic health records. This breakthrough means we at #RedcarePharmacy can accept e-prescriptions from different countries, enhancing our ability to meet our patients' needs more effectively. Our CEO, Olaf Heinrich, shares his excitement: "This development is a major milestone, as it allows us as an online pharmacy currently operating in seven EU Member States, to accept e-prescriptions from other countries, thereby meeting the needs of our patients”. 📈 Breaking News! 🚀 Our Q1 earnings are in – let’s take a look at the #highlights of the first three months of 2024 for #RedcarePharmacy: 🌟 Group sales hit EUR 560M, up 51% from last year; 💊 Non-Rx sales grew 20% to EUR 404M; Rx sales up 7% in Germany; 📈 Adj. EBITDA margin at 2.1%, up 33% YoY; 🌍 Active customer base expanded to 11.2M; 💻 eHealth-CardLink approval received on 23 April; will be launched in #ShopApotheke app by early May. Our CEO Olaf Heinrich comments, "We are happy with our performance to date, which continues to show the success of our strategy."
