Tinctorial Frames are tonal compositions of two coloured wool pieces. Like a warp and weft of a magnified weave, the colours meet in the middle where they create a blend of due to their translucency. The four tonal works represent each a colour groups. The textiles used in the frames are Tinctorial Textiles. The organic wool is dyed with natural pigments and stretched over a greybord. — From now available on shop.rawcolor.nl — You can also find them in our exhibition during Dutch Design Week — Tinctorial Textiles is designed by Raw Color for Ecological Textiles. As a new step in the research on natural pigment, the organic wool textile is dyed with natural pigments. The dyes used creating the fabrics derive from three plants: madder root / reds (Rubia tinctorium), reseda / yellows (Reseda luteola) and indigo / blues (Polygonum tinctorum). All dyes are purely applied in different concentrations to achieve more or less saturation. Set Screens are perforated aluminium screens that generate interaction with their surroundings. The screens support books and allow parts of the cover to shine through. Yesterday was the opening of Hete Vuren Limburgs Museum. Happy to finally share first images of the exhibition design we have worked on for several months. — Painints from the collection of Rijksmuseum with the topic around fire are combined with collection pieces from the province and perspective of Limburg. — Check it out until May’25 — Thanks for the inspiring collaboration and everybody involved to make this project happen!

Build up in full swing with the team at the studio for coming Dutch Design Week. We will present the collaboration with Ikea - Tesammans and show the process and products, for the first time united in a spatial experience.

Pode magazine — An ode to the Pode set photography created during recent recent years by Art Directors Claire Vos and Roderick Vos — For the Graphic design of the catalog of Dutch furniture company Pode, Raw Color aimed to capture the dreamy character of the brand. An important choice was to exclude any product photography to maintain a dense atmosphere.
