🌟 Message from the QDNL Board 🌟 Dear friends, We are delighted to share that the Dutch National Growth Fund (NGF) has awarded the third phase of the QDNL programme, releasing the final portion of the €615 million funding allocated in 2021. 🚀🎉 As the QDNL board, we see this as a significant endorsement of the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in the Dutch Quantum ecosystem and our friends in ecosystems abroad. The NGF committee's decision to award these funds was based on the conclusions of an independent midterm review committee, our plans for phase 3, and an interview the NGF had with us. We have achieved remarkable progress in our pursuit of the QDNL ambitions. Here's what we've accomplished together: • Hundreds of new jobs in quantum 🧑🔬 • Advancements in quantum science 🔬 • New educational levels🎓 • Fostered industry opportunities 🤝 • Attracted international talent ✨ • Led on the global stage, with a highlight being our hosting of the Multilateral Dialogue on Quantum with thirteen other nations 🌍 • United our community through events and the House of Quantum initiative 🏠 These accomplishments demonstrate that our ecosystem approach has proven successful. As a result, the Netherlands’ prestige in the quantum field is being globally recognized, confirmed by the strong interest in collaboration and joint investment programmes from countries like France and Germany. While the NGF advisory committee has praised our impressive progress, the rapid advancement in quantum technology and competitive investments worldwide remind us of the need for continued focus and collaboration. As we enter this next phase, we will: • Focus on economic activities 📈 • Attract national and international investors 💼 • Develop Quantum Delta NL to be future-ready 🔮 • Balance efforts across science, industry, and startups ⚙️ In the coming months, we will incorporate the positive and constructive feedback from the NGF advisory committee to refine our plans for phase 3. We look forward to advancing into this next phase of our programme with all of you. Enjoy the summer season! ☀️ On behalf of the QDNL team, The QDNL Board: Philippe Bouyer, Pieter de Witte, and Jesse Robbers

🌟 What an incredible, energizing start we had at Nodes!🌟 At our Nodes of One Network event, during Quantum Meets, we kicked off with such a fun icebreaker: our Random Badge Exchange. 350 participants were handed a random name badge and had to find the person whose badge they had, while also tracking down their own badge by mingling and connecting with others. Within just 10 minutes, everyone had succeeded in finding their badge and meeting new people along the way. 🎉 This fun activity not only broke the ice but also set the perfect tone for the day. It encouraged teamwork, initiated conversations, and fostered a sense of community right from the start. 🫶 Of course, our guests were not on their own in this. Following our 'Nobody Stands Alone' policy, our ‘superconnectors’ were on hand, ensuring everyone felt included and had the support they needed to start connecting. Welcome to the quantum community! 🚀🌐✨ #QuantumMeets #QM24 #QDNL #NodesOfOne #QuantumCommunity #Collaboration #NobodyStandsAlone Shahar Graf Caspar de Kler Juliette de la Rie ☀️ Ilona van der Rijt Thijs Brehm
