📅 Datum: 1 oktober 2024  🕒 Tijd: 14:30 - 17:00 uur  📍 Locatie: Mikrocentrum, Veldhoven   Registreer hier: 👉link: https://lnkd.in/eH_bv4Zs   Agrifood | NXTGEN Hightech   #FoodTech #Innovatie #Voedingsindustrie #SensorTechnologie #Kwaliteitscontrole #NextTechFoodFactories

  • Last week, Bram de Vrught was honored with a well-deserved spot on the FOOD100 list! 🥳 Food100 presents the 100 most influential Dutch food changemakers of 2024. It’s a great honor that QING is among these impact makers who are dedicated to creating a sustainable food system. "At QING, we work every day to make the food industry 'fit for the future.' Technology is, of course, an important tool, but ultimately, it’s about the people who use that technology. That’s where the real impact happens. Being included in the FOOD100 is fantastic recognition and motivation for our entire team." - Bram de Vrught, Managing Director at QING Check out the full list of the 100 impact makers in food here: https://lnkd.in/extcBtgW #food100 #foodindustry #technology #innovation

  • Robotics sounds like the ideal solution to the current challenges facing food producers, but is it? Robots offer many benefits and opportunities, such as increasing productivity and alleviating labor shortages. But there are certainly challenges involved as well... Investment is logically a serious consideration. In addition to a significant financial commitment, it also requires a strategic approach to align implementation with the company's long-term goals. A common challenge is integrating robots into existing production lines; this can be very complex. This requires adjustments beyond just installing a machine. Personnel should certainly not be missing from this. Although robots can take over many tasks, there is still a need for qualified personnel to operate and maintain this technology. The shortage of technical specialists makes it difficult for companies to bring the necessary knowledge in-house. This lack of expertise can be a stumbling block to the successful implementation of robotics. Despite these challenges, robotics still offers tremendous opportunities for companies in the food industry. However, it requires a thoughtful approach that incorporates financial, operational and human factors. Is your company already working on robotization? Want to read more insights on the challenges and opportunities of robotization in the food industry? • "Technology is driving the future of the food industry" is often said, but what does that mean for a process operator? Technology can solve many of today's challenges, but not all. For that, you really need people with the right knowledge and experience. The demand for automation solutions is growing rapidly and this has a direct impact on operations. Routine work is becoming less and less as a result. This offers opportunities, but also requires new knowledge and skills from employees. Automation does not mean the loss of jobs; rather, it is an opportunity for your employees to grow. By giving your employees the opportunity for personal development with the advent of new technologies, you offer them perspective and the chance to do more challenging work. Wondering how to involve employees in innovation plans and how to keep everyone motivated during an innovation journey? • That robotics is a trending topic among food producers is quite clear... Sebastiaan Schreijen and Niels Snoep from Rabobank have discussed this with 22 medium-sized food manufacturers. They all indicated that they are involved with robotics in some way; some are still in the thinking phase, while others are already considering upgrading or replacing their current robots. Robotics seems to be the solution for many challenges within the food industry, but it doesn’t come without its own set of challenges. These include investment risks and adapting the production process. Want to know more about what to consider when implementing robotics?
