QuantWare’s newest products allow fast and accurate readout of qubits in the largest systems currently available in the market. 💡 Delft-based company QuantWare designs, develops and fabricates hardware to enable quantum computing. It’s the leading supplier of quantum processors. Its two new products are called  ➡️ Crescendo-S J-TWPA  ➡️ Concerto ➝The newest Crescendo-S J-TWPA is less than half the size of the previous generation, easier to use and better performing. ➝ Its accompanying high-density cryo holder, Concerto, houses and shields up to six Crescendi in a compact form-factor. What problems do the products solve? 💡 Quantum computers consist of quantum bits (qubits). To make quantum computers work effectively, the information stored in qubits needs to be read out very accurately. This is a challenging task because qubits are extremely sensitive and need to be kept at extremely cold temperatures. A quantum amplification solution is crucial because it helps amplify and read the information from qubits without introducing a lot of noise or errors, making it an essential component in building and operating reliable quantum computers. ➡️ The Josephson traveling wave parametric amplifier (J-TWPA) is considered the most advanced solution for accurately amplifying quantum signals. QuantWare’s Crescendo-S J-TWPA allows users to read out many qubits at the same time, due to its large amplification bandwidth via a technique called readout multiplexing. This makes J-TWPAs a critical element of scalable quantum computers. ➡️ With Crescendo-S, QuantWare has more than halved the size of these amplifiers whilst increasing performance. The smaller form factor allows fitting of up to six Crescendi into a single array with a small form factor called Concerto. 🚀 This makes the amplifiers scalable for the largest systems currently available in the market. Along with the new products, QuantWare announced that it developed improved production and testing capabilities, to increase the production capacity of the amplifiers more than tenfold. CEO Matthijs Rijlaarsdam: “Because of the efforts of our team, we’re now able to deliver a better product at far larger volumes - putting us in a unique position to meet the growing demands on volume, quality and reliability that come with a maturing industry.” Congratulations team! #quantum #quantumcomputing #QDNL Infinity QD

📣 We’re incredibly proud to announce we’re leading the latest €8m investment round in QphoX! 🚀 QphoX is building the world's first Quantum Modem device, as a critical step towards scaling quantum computers and establishing a quantum internet, connecting quantum computers across the globe. How? ➝ The Quantum Modem device is the core hardware required to allow quantum computers to communicate over an optical network. ➝ QphoX will thereby enable the scalability of large quantum computing systems within a data center, and ultimately form the backbone of the future quantum internet. 💰This €8m round is the largest investment in a quantum company in the Netherlands to date. We’re investing alongside the EIC Fund, and existing investors Quantonation, Speedinvest, HTGF | High-Tech Gründerfonds, and Delft Enterprises B.V. Like TNW just wrote: "The Netherlands may be a small country, but its growing quantum ecosystem is emerging as a leader in specialised quantum technologies. (...) Its €15mn QDNL Participations fund has already invested in other technology-leading quantum startups, including QuantaMap, QuantWare, Fermioniq, and Q-bird." ➝ More on QphoX’s exceptional team and technology: QphoX's core technology centers on the ability to build devices that enable quantum transduction, where (quantum) information can be translated between the microwave and optical domains. The company has made a number of breakthroughs in its technology recently. 🗞️ In October 2023, QphoX shared its demonstration of optical-frequency readout of superconducting qubits and published peer-reviewed details of its world-leading transducer performance in Nature Nanotechnology. It established the company as a leader in the emerging field of quantum transduction. 🎤 Chad Rigetti, our Venture Partner, who will also join the company’s advisory board, underlined that point by saying: “Quantum transduction, and the ability to interconnect modular quantum computers over an optical network, is a breakthrough capability that could shift how we think of building large scale quantum computers and the quantum internet. QphoX is the clear leader in this category. We’re thrilled to back them in their mission to build a leading global quantum hardware company.” Indeed we are thrilled! Read more in the article published on TNW! https://lnkd.in/e-BxBpKx 🎈 Congratulations Simon Groeblacher, Robert Stockill and the entire QphoX team! ----------------------------------------------------- 💡Backed by Quantum, our fund will invest €15 million into early-stage Dutch quantum computing startups in the coming years. ----------------------------------------------------- #quantum #quantumcomputing #QDNL #deeptech #VC Shree Infotech towards infiniy

📣 We’re proud to announce our latest investment in QuantaMap! 🚀 QuantaMap develops quality assurance tech for the production of quantum computer chips, which will help accelerate the widespread adoption of quantum technology. 🚀 The startup uses special techniques designed specifically for quantum chips, setting it apart from the competition. ➝ QuantaMap has developed a novel microscope that will allow quantum researchers and chip manufacturers to closely inspect each chip to assure and improve its quality. Quantum chips are complex and difficult to produce. When they do not work as well as they should, there is no way to find out why, which component failed, and how to improve the production processes. This is one of the major roadblocks to scaling quantum chips. QuantaMap will solve that problem. 🧭 “Imagine if every quantum researcher and manufacturer had a finely tuned compass to navigate the uncharted quantum landscape of their chips; that's what we are creating,” explains its CEO, Johannes Jobst. 🎤 Our Managing Director Ton van 't Noordende: “By employing a unique combination of cryogenic scanning-probe microscopy and custom quantum sensors, QuantaMap is addressing a crucial challenge in the industry: the difficulty of producing reliable quantum chips.
