👋❗July is almost over and on 7 August we’d like to invite you to our meetup hosted by Artefact at their office in Utrecht, directly next to the Utrecht central train station! The meetup theme is centered around how to bring GenAI to production, but not just production, production to the next level 🌟 More specifically, the Artefact team (Arthur Lambert & Priya Sarkar) will demonstrate how they use GenAI for the generation of customized, production-ready marketing images and the phospho (YC W24) team (Paul-Louis Venard & Pierre-Louis Biojout) will illustrate how to integrate robust ML best practices on scales of quality metrics for GenAI products. 👉 Register here ▶ https://lnkd.in/eg797kM6

🎉 Exciting news! 🎉 I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be presenting at PyData Amsterdam 2024 alongside Zeynab Rashidpour. We'll be diving into the complexities of deploying generative AI in a highly regulated environment, specifically focusing on ING's approach. Our talk, "ING’s Customer-Facing Generative AI: Navigating Risk, Compliance, and Defense Mechanism," will explore the challenges, solutions, and best practices for implementing and monitoring these powerful tools while ensuring compliance and mitigating risks. Join us at PyData Amsterdam 2024 to learn how we're leveraging generative AI to improve customer experiences while adhering to the highest standards of safety and security. #PyDataAmsterdam #GenerativeAI #AIinFinance

Last year's PyData Amsterdam Conference was a great experience and it laid the foundations of my Open Source journey. I'm happy (and slightly terrified 😱 ) to share with you, that I've been given the chance to tell about my OSS experience and I'll be a speaker at PyData Amsterdam Conference this year. I hope to see you there

Just saw the email that I got selected for giving a talk at PyData Amsterdam 2024! I’m looking forward to presenting the learnings from a fullstack product developed by me and some other talented software engineers. The tech stack? A unique blend of Java, Python, TypeScript, and more—a mix of tools a machine learning engineer doesn’t typically use. Together, we stepped out of our comfort zones to build a news website utilizing natural language processing, cross-validation approaches from active learning, and generative AI. Our goal? To deliver verified news and its sources straight to the reader (while learning new technologies). We often work on projects together for fun and learning, exploring what’s possible by evaluating the mix of tools we use and learning from other fields to deliver the best possible tech. In the talk I will discuss what worked (and what did not). Looking forward to the conference! It’s always inspiring to meet others pushing the boundaries of machine learning and data solutions. Who will I see there this year?

This year I'll be speaking at PyData Amsterdam. 🎉 My proposal on Building a Data Platform from scratch has been accepted! 💥 During my talk I'll share my experiences when building data platforms. In particular, why a well designed data platform can be game changer and how to build one using open source technologies. I'll also highlight how to pick and build your first data products. It's been 5 years since I've last spoken at a conference. This makes me excited to finally get back to it! If you're attending the conference, pop me a message if you'd like to meet up. See you there! #speaker #pydata #amsterdam #data

Awesome... I'm a #speaker at PyData Amsterdam this year! How cool is that?!? 🤯 🎉 What I'm particularly excited about is that it's my first talk on #cybersecurity. If you've been following me for a while, you might have noticed that I've been a Senior AI Researcher at Smart Cyber Security GmbH since the beginning of the year. One of my first exams was to pass the LLM #CTF of SaTML 2024 (https://ctf.spylab.ai/) together with my colleague Sandro Bauer with our 4th-placed Team 'CC Weiss-Blau' (https://lnkd.in/g6VipWFW). And that's exactly what our joint presentation 'The Odyssey of Hacking LLMs: Insights from Two Shipmates Sailing in the LLM CTF @ SaTML 2024' is all about! But not only that: If you want to know how to hack LLMs and especially how Sandro and I did in the whole story, come to PyData #Amsterdam - we are looking forward to meeting you!

🌟 We’re super excited to have Ines Montani join us as a keynote speaker at #PDAmsterdam2024! Ines is ready to take us on an epic adventure through the world of Applied NLP in the age of Generative AI. 🚀 What’s on the Agenda? Get ready for a deep dive with Ines into the realm of Large Language Models (LLMs) and in-context learning, where the magic words are “prompts are all you need.” While prototyping has gotten a heck of a lot easier, making the leap to production can still be a wild ride. Ines will be sharing the secret spells—uh, lessons—learned from the front lines of real-world information extraction battles. Plus, she’ll reveal some game-changing strategies for building NLP systems that are not only smart but also tough enough for the real world. 👩💻 Meet Ines Montani: Ines isn’t just the co-founder and CEO of Explosion; she’s also a core developer of spaCy, a popular open-source library for Natural Language Processing in Python, and Prodigy, a modern annotation tool for creating training data for machine learning models. 🎟️ Why You Can’t Miss This: Join us to geek out over data science and snag some sage advice from Ines and other Data and AI wizards this September at PyData Amsterdam 2024. Grab your tickets now and prepare for an unforgettable experience! 🔗 https://lnkd.in/ek6FaNgh Can’t wait to see you there for some serious NLP fun and groundbreaking insights! #NLP #AI #MachineLearning #PyData #DataScience #GenerativeAI #LLMs #spaCy #Prodigy
