Today we celebrate the successful closure of the HyScaling project https://lnkd.in/emn7m-44 HyScaling, part of the Hydrohub Innovation Program, brought together partners from the Netherlands to develop new processes to reduce costs, and increase durability and efficiency of green hydrogen production. "PEM Water Electrolyzer (PEMWE) is a key technology for green hydrogen production, owing to its high efficiency and flexibility. However, PEMWE suffers from short lifetime, high costs and critical raw materials (CRM) usage, in particular Platinum Group Metals (PGM)." – Lennart van der Burg, Cluster Manager Green Hydrogen – TNO https://lnkd.in/eMj3WRuA “Our ultra-low Iridium catalyst demonstrated benchmark performance at only 0.1 mg/cm2 in a 1000h degradation test, involving both steady-state and accelerated stress profiles. Bob was previously the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Contemporary Amperex Technology Company Ltd (CATL), the world’s largest battery manufacturer. Bob has worked both with large and small entrepreneurial businesses. Over 47 years experience in battery technology give him a visionary perspective on worldwide business, making him uniquely qualified as a global thought leader for breakthrough technologies like that of Powall. He has held the Chairmanship of SAE International Battery Standards Steering Committee for 12 years. Bob is going to support us in accelerating the global introduction of Powall’s unique scalable production technology based on ALD enhancing powders of cathode and anode active materials for Li-ion batteries.
