NLMWC post-event at Eurofiber On Thursday, June 20, we gathered at Eurofiber for our NLMWC post-event, reflecting on our MWC24 experiences and looking ahead to MWC25. We were warmly welcomed by Paul Naastepad, MD Netherlands at Eurofiber, who highlighted the company's focus on sustainability, connectivity and security. Anke Kuipers kicked off the session with a recap of our successful 2024 edition, while Mark Beermann emphasized our community-driven approach to preparing for 2025. Anke and Gijs van Beek shared insights from the media partners, LuteijnMedia and Telecompaper, and Hans den Heijer presented the productive communication efforts at MWC24. Mark also spotlighted the collaboration with Topsector ICT, including their recent infographic publication about 2023 and confirmed participation of the topsector at MWC25. Tom Bonello from GSMA presented the MWC24 audience analysis, and Alejandro Scandura provided an overview of 4YFN, with InnovationQuarter organizing the startup representation. Koen Mioulet introduced the knowledge mission tour on private networks with Verizon, Druid, Airspan, Microsoft and Nokia aiming to develop a program on private networks for main ports in collaboration with Ecosystem Services. After a short break, Tieneke Breemhaar of WaytoSustain led an engaging sustainability panel featuring Monique Lempers Chief Impact officer of Fairphone, Danielle Turmel - category manager government, Jeroen Kanselaar, manager ESG at Eurofiber, and Max Schulze - Founder SDIA. The panel is also part of the preparations for a sustainability program that Ecosystem Services, in Collaboration with WaytoSustain, is creating and that will be announced later this year. Next, Oscar van Veen, Innovation Director at Port of Rotterdam, highlighted the ground breaking initiative of a scalable quantum network collaboration with Eurofiber and Q*BIRD B.V. at Port of Rotterdam. Fred Hage gave a pitch about joining MWC to spotlight the North Sea connectivity program at MWC25. Kirill Sokol of Skinive - AI Dermatologist, the winner of the Telecom Paper Innovation Award 2022, shared positive experiences at 4YFN. TechBinder is the winner of the 2024 edition.
