A day of inspiration and collaboration with LUMC students 🚀 Yesterday, we welcomed 55 talented students from Leiden University Medical Center to spend the day with us. We kicked off the day with insightful talks from our NLC speakers, Ankita Das, Kawita Kanhai, MD PhD and Luca ten Elshof, who shared their knowledge and expertise with the students. It was a great opportunity for them to delve into the world of science and business. -One of the highlights was the business case challenge. The students showcased their innovative thinking and problem-solving skills by working on a business case and presenting their solutions.  -We also hosted a panel featuring Jeroen Kodde, Fenna Heyning, Deborah Maufi MD, MBA and Willem Fontijn who shared their personal stories and journeys, leaving us inspired. Seeing the next generation of #scientists and #entrepreneurs become part of our ecosystem is always a pleasure. 🌟 Weekly Recap: A Week of Collaboration, and Celebration! 🌟 Last week was packed with exciting moments for NLC with HLTH, an exclusive networking dinner, successful ortho/spine panel and a festive venture day. Here's a look back at everything we had done: June 17-20: HLTH Europe We had an incredible time showcasing our health innovations at HLTH Europe. Throughout the week NLC pavilion was filled with inspiring discussions, valuable insights from venture CEOs, and a deep dive into cardiovascular, biotech, ortho/spine and general health tech solutions. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry leaders and explore collaborative opportunities. June 18: Exclusive Networking Dinner We also hosted an exclusive dinner, bringing together decision-makers from the biotech, cardiovascular, ortho-spine, and general health industries. The evening was filled with enriching conversations, networking and great food. June 19: Ortho & Spine Expert Panel Besides growing our community and network, we have also engaged in meaningful discussion with professionals from our Ortho & Spine Expert Panel on technologies currently in our venture creation pipeline. We also invited three of our ventures to share their questions with the experts, as challenges and questions will continue to arise even after the venture is established. June 21: Venture Day  Wrapping up the week, we hosted the annual Venture Day, uniting NLC’s ventures from around the globe. We covered critical topics such as early-stage funding, clinical trials, market access, and more. The event concluded with a graduation ceremony celebrating the achievements of Mitracept , Aerion Bioscience, ChARM, and Neurolieve Biosciences Ltd. Yesterday and today have been greatly inspiring at the NLC pavilion of #HLTHEurope as we had the pleasure of hosting the CEO’s of six of our ventures at the couch sessions. Yesterday Tushar Sharma, CEO of Ecomedic, Dominique Surinx, CEO of Ansana, Dr. Axel Schumacher, CEO of Aerion Bioscience, and Darren Fergus, CEO of Profionics all gave their presentations. Today Alberto Verteramo, CEO of Liftya and Iestyn Foster, CEO of Amotio, continued to impress us all.
