🏳️🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🏳️🌈 As we step into Pride Month, we are excited to share that MR MARVIS has founded a JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) Committee. After last year's success in organising a PRIDE week and related educational activities, now it is time to take our efforts to the next level. In the coming months, the committee will focus on creating a JEDI vision statement for MR MARVIS, organising a second edition of PRIDE week, facilitating training, and conducting employee surveys to gain a better understanding of JEDI within our company. By establishing this committee, we aim to make MR MARVIS an even more welcoming place where everyone — our employees, customers, and the communities we interact with — feels safe, empowered, and accepted for who they are. MR MARVIS is now a member of the Fur Free Retailer programme, an international coalition of more than 50 of the world's leading wildlife and environmental protection organisations. Although we have never had any fur-based products in our collections, we aim to contribute to increasing public awareness of animal welfare. Last Monday, 15 of our colleagues volunteered at Het Danspaleis | Tankstation van levensvreugde. 🕺🎷 Het Danspaleis has a mission: fighting loneliness and promoting vitality and inclusion among seniors in the Netherlands through music and dancing. They do so by organising dance parties for seniors in elderly homes around the country. MR MARVIS has been a proud partner over the past three years and also sponsored Monday's event. It made their day, and ours too! 🎉 Each year, MR MARVIS sets a target for voluntary work hours based on (but not limited to) 4 hours per full-time employee. For 2024, this means we will roll up our sleeves together with our team for at least 255 hours. 💪

During Green Friday, we introduced Plant-A-Tree Friday and teamed up with Trees for All – a non-profit reforestation foundation based in the Netherlands – to plant a tree for every pair of trousers sold that day, November 24th 2023. The results are in and we're excited to announce that with our donations, 1460 trees will be planted. In total, Trees for All will be planting 7000 trees with 2023's Green Friday donations. 🌳
