We're thrilled to share that Milence is expanding its charging network with a new hub in Zwolle, Netherlands. This strategic location at business park Hessenpoort connects seamlessly with the North Sea-Baltic corridor, providing vital support to battery-electric heavy-duty trucks across Europe. 🌍 📍Situated in Zwolle, strategically located near the A28 and A50 highways, the hub connects major seaports like Rotterdam and Hamburg. Equipped with high-performance charging technology, the hub will ensure a smooth and reliable experience for all e-trucks. Starting with construction in September 2024 and aiming for operational integration by December 2024, the first phase will feature four Combined Charging System (CCS) chargers, providing power to eight charging bays. What a milestone for the future of road transport! 6 months ago, we announced the development of one of Europe's largest public charging hubs for heavy-duty electric trucks, and today we are proud to open it. The Port of Antwerp-Bruges is the perfect location as it is a major hub for global trade, with 60% of the EU's purchasing power within a 500km radius. 20 charging bays and 10 high-performance CCS chargers are already available, and we have a plan for a rapid transition to Megawatt Charging System (MCS), which we were pleased to present today. This hub is a strong commitment to net-zero and sustainability and will contribute to the Green Corridor initiative between the ports of Antwerp and Bruges.   A special thank you to Maroš Šefčovič, Executive Vice-President for the European Green Deal, Jacques Vandermeiren, CEO, Port of Antwerp-Bruges for joining us today and for being a strong supporter of Europe's energy transition.
