𝔹𝕒𝕔𝕜 𝕥𝕠 𝔹𝕒𝕤𝕚𝕔𝕤: ℝ𝕖𝕕𝕖𝕗𝕚𝕟𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕆𝕦𝕣 ℙ𝕣𝕠𝕕𝕦𝕔𝕥 𝕍𝕚𝕤𝕚𝕠𝕟    Things have been moving fast here at Low-code Academy! New features, exciting partnerships, the whole nine yards. But amidst all the hustle, we realized it was time to revisit our foundation: our product vision. We believe a clear product vision is the North Star guiding our team's decisions. It's the "why" behind what we do – the ultimate impact we want to make. So, what did we do? We gathered the crew, yes, even the office mascot (somewhat involuntarily), for a dedicated product vision session. We teach participants in our bootcamp about product vision, but now it was our turn to create a concise, yet powerful statement outlining the future state of our product. It defines: 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿: Our target customer and their needs. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲: What pain point do we address? 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲: How do we stand out from the crowd? 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹: What impact do we want to create? Why is reviewing our product vision important for our business? 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 & 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: It keeps everyone on the same page, ensuring our efforts are directed towards a common goal. 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴: It acts as a compass, guiding our choices when prioritizing features and functionalities. 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: It inspires our team with a clear picture of the positive change we aim to achieve. The Next Steps: During our session, we brainstormed, laughed (a lot!), and ultimately, started crafting a new and improved product vision statement. Some time ago, Rene dropped by to discuss the new website for Low-code Academy, a project we thoroughly enjoyed working on. Through this endeavour, we became acquainted with Mendix, a low-code platform enabling the rapid development of mobile and web apps. Shortly thereafter, we received a request from NHG (Nationale Hypotheek Garantie) to enhance their Mendix application's UX/UI. Collaborating closely with developers Jens, Niek & Jeroen, we seamlessly integrated an entire design system into Mendix. This gives their development team many tools and guidance to build consistent, good-looking, and user-friendly interfaces, maximizing Mendix’s capabilities.
