Patient recruitment and adherence services for clinical trials. Member BEAMER patient adherence project (EFPIA-IMI).
Over ons
Link2Trials offers patient pre-selection, recruitment, and adherence support services for clinical trials. We focus on improving the patient’s experience to fulfill our mission; supply services that help our customers run clinical trials as efficient and effective as possible. We continuously review and improve our services and at the same time keeping them aligned to the present and future needs of our customers. In 2017 this led us on a path to find a solution to the unresolved issue of early drop-out, an extreme form of non-adherence. To help improve adherence levels during clinical studies we have created adherence risk management (ARM) services based on the Subjective Health Experience Model (SHE) developed by Bloem & Stalpers in 2012. SHE is rooted in behavioral science and enables support tailored to the individual needs, wants, and wishes of patients. Since 2021 we are also IMI/IHI Associated Partner for the BEAMER project, the latest initiative to address the emerging challenge of patient adherence to prescribed treatments. Contact us if you want to learn more about how we can help to fulfill your specific patient recruitment needs and to overcome potential patient adherence risks.

On behalf of Danone Research & Innovation, Link2Trials has launched their Infant Growth Tracker study. Tracking an infant's growth is important for a parent, as growth is one of the most important measures of assessing infant health. Measuring length of your infant or toddler at home can be a real challenge for parents. Not all parents have easy access to health care facilities where the growth of their child can be measured. To assist parents in measuring the length of their child, Danone Nutricia Research developed a learning algorithm that predicts a child’s length from pictures taken while the child is lying on their back. The algorithm is designed for children younger than 2 years old and uses the latest computer imaging methods to do this. To make the length algorithm more accurate, Danone Nutricia Research is looking for parents who want to participate in this study. Here's a very interesting article by Victoria Zhang and Ken Getz of the Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development on how the content of patient recruitment advertising has evolved over the years. Despite the billions spent on advertising patient recruitment still is a mayor challenge, resulting in only 60% of the study sites enrolling at least one patient and phase II & III studies taking 36% longer than 10 years ago. But if you cannot find and reach your intended audience, then even the best content will do nothing for your study! We have an almost perfect track record of finding, reaching, and recruiting the right patients for all the studies we have been recruiting for. Get in touch with our experts Alexandra Sheren, Ola Hasselgren, and Simon Klaasen and learn how we can help you recruit the right patients on time for your studies! #patientengagement #patientrecruitment #clinicaltrials #clinicaloperations #patientcentricity #patientexperience https://lnkd.in/e5t5UNYz

We’ve Hit 100% of Our Recruitment Target for the Pelago Alcohol RCT! The goal of this study was to test the effectiveness of a novel digital health therapeutic with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and medication, for adults looking to reduce alcohol consumption due to alcohol use disorder. A big thank you to Laura Monico, Director, Clinical Research and Strategy at Pelago, for your kind words: “Link2Trials was a wonderful collaborator during the launch and execution of our trial. Their integration with our data capture system was seamless, and they graciously worked with us to adjust our study recruitment pace when necessary. It was a pleasure to work with Simon Klaasen and his team, and we would be delighted to do so in the future.” Working with the Castor team is always a pleasure, and thanks to our smooth integration with the e-consent and EDC systems, the setup and management of these studies feels like a walk in the park. Thank you Jessica (Jess) Potestivo, Derk Arts, MD PhD Arts, Floris Morang. Looking forward to continuing this partnership in the future! Spread the word! Like and share to keep your network informed. Next week the BEAMER project team will convene in Düsseldorf, Germany to discuss the latest details of our model and prepare a very important and decisive step in the project. The meeting will be hosted by our project partner the University of Düsseldorf at the Universitätsklinikum Düsseldorf. Late 2021 this team set out to develop a pragmatic, actionable, and effective human behavior based model to better support adherence to treatment. With this model we hope to improve the quality, health outcomes, and cost-effectiveness of healthcare. Today the BEAMER project is midway, and we believe we that we have a model that ticks all the boxes. Next step is delivering the proof that it does what it needs to do, and show you that it will enable you to provide even better patient support. Keep following Link2Trials and BEAMER to stay up to date! #beamerproject #patientadherence #patientengagement #clinicalcare #clinicaloperations #healthcareinnovations #patientoutcomes #healtheconomics #healthcareprofessionals #healthinsurancepolicy #regulators
