Last week our welding team reached another great milestone; the completion of welding fullscale #2 🙌 🙌 . The part is now on its way to DAHER for final inspections. This torsionbox demo is a UD based thermoplastic representation of the TBM horizontal tail plane. In total we will produce 3 demo's and the last one will undergo full mechanical testing 💪 🔍. Today, we have officially issued the certificates for the Composite Training which was provided to 8 of our employees. Well done to our composite technicians, team leads and production manager! We’re proud of our team for their commitment and the excellent results. Big thanks also to Frank van Wissen from FVW Composites for his wisdom, experience and inspirational training. Last Sunday The Hague transformed itself into the sport capital of the Netherlands for one day. The CPC (City-Pier-City) run had an amazing 35.000 participants, of which 19 came from KVE. That is nearly 30 % of our company, making us official sporty spices. 🏃♂️ 🏃♀️ 🏃♂️ 3 teams participated in the business runs of 5 and 10K. We all really enjoyed the event and saw many happy faces crossing the finish line. We are proud to say we finished 4th and 5th on the 10K race as teams. Well done to everyone. We will be back next year!!

What an amazing week we had at #jecworld2024. For the first time KVE and DAHER shared a booth and what a blast it was! 🌪 So many people came to see the welded fullscale demonstrator, which shows Daher is preparing to manufacture advanced structures for the next generation of more sustainable aircraft using thermoplastic composites. 🌍 ✈ We want to thank all visitors for their interest and enthusiasm for our services, the always vibrant Daher team and off course the KVE team present at JEC.
