    On August 15th, our JET & Proud LGBTQIA Network partnered with Colorintech for an event focused on deepening our understanding of #intersectionality within the LGBTQIA community 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🌍 We explored the unique experiences faced by those belonging to both LGBTQIA and ethnically diverse communities, often navigating multiple layers of marginalization. This was an opportunity to reflect on how we, as a company and individuals, can better support and celebrate diversity. By coming together to inspire, educate, and celebrate, we can better understand these experiences and foster a more inclusive environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. Josh Rivers, host of the Busy Being Black podcast, opened with a thought-provoking discussion on what it means to live at the intersection of these identities. Our panel—Jaron Soh (Voda: The LGBTQIA Mental Wellness App), Zareen Ali (Cogs AI), Terence Guiamo (JET), and Janine Cushnie (JET in Colour)—shared their personal stories and the impactful work they’re doing to support the community. Thank you to everyone who joined us, both in-person and virtually, for helping shed light on these experiences and contributing to our collective understanding of intersectionality. #WeAreJET #Inclusivity #Pride

    Today we are are excited to announce our new partnership with Tchibo, a German retail chain known for its coffee and wide range of non-food products that change weekly 🇩🇪☕ Now, #Lieferando customers can enjoy the convenience of having coffee, sports gadgets, household goods, textiles, and a rotating selection of Tchibo’s themed products delivered straight to their doorsteps. The express service has initially started in 14 stores - nine in Berlin and five in Hamburg. “The Tchibo theme worlds and Lieferando’s fast delivery fit together perfectly. The joint ordering service makes the changing offers immediately available to even more people in Germany. Tchibo is thus showing how retailers can supplement their branch network with an innovative and particularly customer-friendly service and thus address additional online target groups. This pilot project is another example of Lieferando’s commitment to continue to grow outside of restaurant orders and we know that Tchibo will be a popular addition for our customers,” says Lennard Neubauer, Managing Director of Lieferando.     Last month, some of our extraordinary JETers geared up for the sixth edition of the JET charity bike ride, setting off on two inspiring 100 mile bike journeys for remarkable causes 🚴💪 Starting at 5 AM, our riders in the UK and Netherlands, embarked from the London and Enschede offices, passing through picturesque landscapes and challenging terrains, reaching their destinations in Bristol and Amsterdam. Over 13 hours, they collectively raised an impressive €24,741 for FoodCycle in the UK and Prinses Máxima Centrum voor kinderoncologie in the Netherlands. Cheered on by the JET support crew, the event concluded with a celebratory gathering at our offices, reflecting on the day’s achievements and an evening of celebrations.     Just Eat Switzerland and Notpla have teamed up to launch sustainable takeaway boxes in Switzerland following successful roll-outs across Europe. 🌱 Lined with seaweed, the packaging is recyclable and home-compostable and will degrade within four to six weeks.   Over the last two years, Notpla has developed more than 5 million takeaway boxes for Just Eat Takeaway.com, which is now available to restaurants across ten of Just Eat Takeaway.com markets through the company’s local web shops. In addition to this, the business introduced Notpla’s packaging for food outlets across UEFA competitions in Europe over the last three years.   Lukas Streich, Country Manager of Just Eat Switzerland said: “We are committed to building a more sustainable future for the food delivery industry, using our reach and expertise to help our restaurant partners adopt more environmentally-friendly products and practices. We’re excited to work with Notpla to launch a credible alternative to the plastic box that is recyclable, home-compostable and which degrades in a matter of weeks.     This morning, we announced our Half Year 2024 Results. Jitse Groen, CEO and founder of Just Eat Takeaway.com explains: "Driven by growth of our partner base, expansion of our Delivery coverage and significant technological advancements, GTV growth further improved in H1 2024. I am pleased that, at the same time, our adjusted EBITDA grew to €203 million in H1 2024, which is 42% higher than in the same period last year.
