From decoding subtle emotional cues to predicting complex movement sequences, this technology is set to revolutionise fields as diverse as healthcare, performing arts, and human-computer interaction. For example, an AI system could detect a change in your walk, identifying an injury long before you notice it yourself. This event brings together two artists, a technologist, a founder and a researcher for an in-depth discussion on the communication between AI and our body. Calling all Artists! 🎨 Open Call Announcement to participate in Hungry EcoCities! If you're passionate about blending technology, art, and science, especially in the food industry, we invite you to apply for this phase of our Open Call. We are dedicated to innovating prototypes in the agri-food sector by combining artistic inspiration with industrial expertise to tackle societal challenges creatively. This initiative includes up to 10 collaborative experiments merging art and industry, aiming to develop prototyping proposals for the Paths to Progress Experiments (PPE) support programme, to create a more sustainable, affordable food system for all. What can you expect? - up to €37,500: including €1,500 per each pre-selected Artist for the Jury Day participation and €36,000 per ultimately selected Artist joining the PPE residency for 8 months (e.g. mentoring sessions, core-team meetings), - Access to scientific expertise and input from the Hungry EcoCities scientist group, - Access to creative studios and their directions on the future of food and access to the network of the Knowledge Hubs, - Access to CRA Factory in Turin, with the possibility to use its equipment (3D printing, laser cutting, crafting tools, etc.) for prototyping, and receive technical support on their use (according to availability).
