🎉 IKEA Foundation visit latest PREO Cohort 🌍 Last week, PREO had the great pleasure of hosting the IKEA Foundation along with programme partners The Carbon Trust and Mercy Corps Energy 4 Impact in Kenya, where some of the latest cohort of companies demonstrated first-hand how they’re harnessing renewable energy solutions to improve incomes and livelihoods and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. 🌱 PREO, backed by the IKEA Foundation and UK aid via the Transforming Energy Access (TEA) platform, recently committed over £2m to support and scale 14 dynamic businesses driving an inclusive energy transition across agri-processing, cooling, solar irrigation, e-waste recycling, e-mobility, healthcare and education. Last week’s visit was a great opportunity for PREO-supported entrepreneurs to showcase the breadth of the programme and the importance of catalytic grant funding to those who make it possible. 👏 For more information on PREO’s latest cohort of innovators check out the recent announcement – https://lnkd.in/gFHzJ3pU Inter Ethiopia Solutions PLC, Ecobora, Mazi Mobility, Strathmore University, Acele Africa - Joseph Mungai, Drop Access Limited, ICE Solar - Emmanuel Ekwueme, PhD, Hinckley Associates Nigeria, CHAJI, Farm Warehouse, SLS Energy, Jokosun Energies, AG Energies Co.
