“Gedurende ik ouder werd, begon ik steeds meer in te zien dat “alleen” fossiele brandstoffen niet de toekomst zijn.” Guus Heuff is Fill Site Service Engineer bij HyGear en tijdens zijn studie ontdekte hij zijn passie voor waterstof. Bij HyGear heeft hij nu de kans om zijn technische én analytische kennis in te zetten in een innovatieve omgeving, waar hightech oplossingen de kern vormen. "In mijn functie ben ik verantwoordelijk voor het draaiende houden van onze Fill-Site. Dit houdt in dat ik de apparatuur zoals pompen en onze eigen systemen (zoals de Hy.Gen) voorzie van regulier onderhoud en waar nodig reparaties. Daarnaast voer ik gas-kwaliteitscontroles uit om de pure kwaliteit van onze waterstof te waarborgen." Wat Guus direct opviel bij HyGear? De geweldige sfeer! Iedereen is gepassioneerd over zijn werk, is bereid om te helpen en toont interesse in collega's. Het is gebruikelijk om vrijdagmiddag gezamenlijk de week af te sluiten en regelmatig worden er diverse activiteiten georganiseerd, dit versterkt het teamgevoel enorm. Daarnaast biedt HyGear volop ontwikkelingsmogelijkheden, zoals cursussen om vaardigheden te verbeteren. "Onlangs heb ik mijn heftruckcertificaat gehaald en word ik binnenkort opgeleid tot Veiligheidsadviseur Wegvervoer.
