Without their help, we would not have been able to set up our pit and work on our car. We went through all different inspections at Formula Student Netherlands (FSN); the mechanical scrutineering, accumulator scrutineering and electrical scrutineering! Even though we did not pass all parts and therefore cannot participate in the racing events, the results of these inspections are very promising for Formula Student France (FSF): 1. Mechanical scrutineering The mechanical scrutineering was very successful! We had two scrutineering sessions and after working on the feedback of the first session, we managed to pass almost every part of these inspections. 2. Accumulator scrutineering As we recently worked on some problems with our accumulator, this scrutineering went better than expected. We had an inspection round and worked on the accumulators afterward. Tomorrow we will have another moment to work on them. 3. Electrical scrutineering The electrical scrutineering also exceeded our expectations! Even though we did not pass this inspection completely, we gained a lot of information and confidence for our next race in France. Most of the parts we did not pass were because the accumulator was not yet allowed in the car, and could therefore not be checked during the inspection. With the help of Sintecs, our Embedded System Engineers Stijn Brugman, Gertjan Kuindersma, Matthijs Veldkamp, and Daan Assies were able to design the PCBs. The ECU in the pictures, that Stijn Brugman designed is the main PCB, works like the car's brain. Sintecs verified the design iterations and gave feedback on the routing and component placement within the PCB. Together, we were able to embed the dashboard functionality within the ECU and locate the PCB more centrally. #HyDriven #Hydrogen #FormulaStudent #RacingCar #HydrogenRacing #Crowdfunding

Safety comes first ✅ Our vehicle dynamic engineers Daan van der Meijden, Stijn Servaas, and Max Vrieling are working on positive locking. During the race, the car will undergo severe vibrations. With the wire in the first picture, we make sure the bolts in the car can never get loose due to these vibrations. In the swipe, we have several examples of how we do this. If we simply connect two bolts in the opposite direction. When one bolt tends to rotate out, it tightens the other bolt and therefore prevents it from getting loose. #HyDriven #Hydrogen #FormulaStudent #RacingCar #HydrogenRacing #BTF #SafetyLocking

Another milestone today! ⚠🩵 Our Embedded System Engineers Matthijs Veldkamp, Daan Assies, Gertjan Kuindersma, and Stijn Brugman managed to power the electromotors of Nebula, thereby spinning the wheels. This shows that the powertrain and the low-voltage systems in Nebula work!
