Elke bijdrage, groot of klein, verdient erkenning. #schouderklopjes #erkenning #teambonding

Working with digital work instructions (DWI) software In many production processes, including assembly, people remain indispensable. With the highly skilled work being done in our companies, it is essential to have employees trained well and to share know-how. Digital work instruction (DWI) software is one tool that can be used to optimise this process. In a recent study, TNO Digital interviewed eight companies in the Netherlands that use DWI software to investigate their motivations for implementing such software and to share their experiences.   The researched companies use various software providers, from Visual Factory, Azumuta, and 3DValue to VKS. Hittech Multin in The Hague, one of the study participants, has been using DWI software from VKS since 2018.   Chantal Lovisa, our DWI specialist, who was also responsible for implementing VKS at Hittech Multin, shares her experience. “The main advantage of using a digital work instruction system such as VKS is version control of the work instructions. Only the latest approved and released version of the work instruction is provided in production, meaning the operator will never use the wrong version. Besides that, the work instructions made with VKS are more visual and standardised. Each slide has an image of the assembly step, a brief description of the action, and a short bill of materials. However, VKS brings more than only digital work instructions. The work instructions can be extended with checklists, videos, training requirements and tool connections, which makes Hittech Multin ready for the future.”   Please refer to the download link below for more information about the benefits of using DWI Software and the study's conclusions.   https://lnkd.in/edTKfKsz

This post explains why our colleague Robin van Eijk is taking photos of this high-tech machine. Robin is one of the 50 experts working in the Hittech Multin cleanroom. In this photo, he is checking a machine from a client in the semicon industry that has been sent back to us for inspection after years of operation.   Robin: “Outgoing inspection is an essential part of our mission to master improvement. We inspect and check every part and system very thoroughly before it leaves one of our companies. Sometimes, machines are returned for analysis or damage repair. My job is first to inspect the machine to determine the problem and if it is still in the shape we delivered it. Our clients want their machines back as if they were new, that is why I take photos to register scratches, the condition of screws and other parts. We offer a long warranty period, and it is up to my colleagues in the cleanroom and me to check if the product falls under warranty or if a damaged product has to be repaired. Mapping out the problem is an important step in solving it for the client and learning and improving our processes. In the end, the quality must remain perfect.”   Are you interested in working for our company in The Hague? Please check the current job openings on our jobs tab.

Frans Hoffmans, managing director of Hittech Multin B.V., explains why settling in the Hague area is a good idea. “The region has a long history surrounded by the Rotterdam Harbour, the high-tech Agriculture region, and excellent education institutes such as the Leidse instrumentmakers School and the TU Delft. It makes the region a healthy environment for technical talent. But when there is so much talent in the region, we must offer them something unique to keep them here. I think what differentiates us from other high-tech companies in the region is the diversity of our work and clients.”   The photo was taken last week during a roundtable discussion between representatives of the three most successful companies in the Technology Park Ypenburg - The Hague regarding growth. Hittech has two companies in the business park: Hittech Multin B.V. and Hittech MPP.   Are you interested in working for one of our nine companies? Please check the Jobs tab.

How can LEGO help students prepare themselves for a future in setting up production lines and working in a cleanroom? Last week, our colleagues Tatjana Verdoold and Jörgen Petri gave an inspiring college at the Leidse instrumentmakers School (LIS). Together, they delved into the world of cleanrooms and showed how to set up a flawless production line. Two groups of students competed against each other by building mini semicon-machines out of LEGO in three rounds. Each participant had their own crucial role in this challenging task.   Our aim was not only to get them to know our company but also to show students that engineering does not always have to be big, bulky and dirty. It can just as easily be small, fine and clean. The students were enthusiastic and learned the ropes of the cleanroom profession. Even some teachers came to take a look and got involved in the lesson. It was a successful day where knowledge was shared, enthusiasm was generated, and new perspectives were opened up.   Are you interested in working in one of our companies? Please check the Jobs tab.

What type of light is produced after the ASML laser hits the tin droplets? This was one of the quiz questions asked after the visit to Hittech Multin B.V. Yesterday, 80 students from the Leidse instrumentmakers School (LiS) visited Technology Park Ypenburg - The Hague. They explored TPY companies like Promolding BV, Hittech MPP B.V., Hittech Multin B.V., Airborne, and KVE.     Witnessing first-hand the fusion of technology and creativity, they gained invaluable insights into the diverse facets of the high-tech industry. Would you like a free and quick knowledge update on high-quality tooling and qualification? Then we got some good news for you! With the help of our Software Engineer Casper van Wezel, we wrote this article about our Multin Qualification Framework (MQF). But if you want to learn more from Casper, you can submit to his online Dutch Society for Precision Engineering Lecture on February 5 from 12:00 to 12:30.   During the lunch lecture, Casper will present the Multin Qualification Framework (MQF), which provides a reusable structure for the QTool software. MQF allows for various software features to be easily re-used for new tools. For example, extending a procedure to record the temperature can also be done in an almost Lego-like fashion. Casper will explain why the framework consists of a Python and a MATLAB part and give insights into some key design choices for the QTools. Interested in following this online lecture via Teams? Please send an email to [email protected].   The Dutch Society for Precision Engineering (DSPE) is a unique community of precision engineers stimulating professional contact and sharing knowledge and passion in precision engineering.

They saved the Christmas tree at the Hittech Multin B.V. company for a few extra weeks for the first quarterly meeting of the new year. Instead of the regular Thursdays, their Managing Director, Frans Hoffmans, shared the results of the last quarter of 2023 during breakfast with almost 150 colleagues.   Their HR Manager, Chantal Dunselman, enjoyed this unique moment. “We gathered at 8:30 AM last week with long tables in our restaurant, as you can see in the photo. Around 9:15, Frans shared the results of the last quarter, which were very positive. For me, as an HR professional, these are the special moments where all the company cultures come together and people enjoy each other’s presence in an informal way. It’s a bit chilly still, but for the next session, we might organize a BBQ.”   Do you want to become part of the Hittech Multin family? We are looking for a new HR-Business Partner and an IT Application Manager. Please check the vacancies tab for more information or send a message to Madri Singh.
